Ranchers warn disease that would ‘decimate’ the cattle industry could cross the southern border
Fox News ^ | 2/3/23 | Kesley Koberg

The Biden administration’s border policies have led to a mass influx of illegal immigrants, and ranchers are increasingly concerned that they will bring with them a highly contagious virus that could cost billions and decimate the livestock industry.

Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) is a highly contagious virus that affects cows, pigs, sheep and other animals with cloven hooves. Todd Wilkinson, a South Dakota rancher who also serves as president-elect of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, told Fox News Digital it is only a matter of time before FMD makes its way across the southern border.

There is evilness in this world, including Bill Gates and the WEF. I strongly suspect they plan to destroy our nation's food supply in order to force us to live on bugs and fake food. Protein is important for brain development and thus critical thinking skills. Remove plentiful and healthy protein sources from the food supply (such as beef cattle) and your population is more compliant.

this is the elitist left preparing to wipe out the meat industry because they don’t like that the lower class has the right to eat what they like- They are setting the stage now- ‘sounding an alarm’ so that when they create something that will deci9mate herds, they can blame it on natural events-

It will happen just as sure as our energy and food supply are under attack by our own government.

‘under the Obozo and Soros orders, this current WH regime will do all it can to collapse this country and that includes how they are staging things where millions of Americans will starve to death. If a bovine disease will help them complete that task, take to the bank they’ll import a deadly cattle disease in a heartbeat from wherever they can get it.

Well, on the positive side -— at first there would be an abundance of real cheap meat

-—then, on the negative side-— there would be a scarcity of meat and it would be real expensive.

Given what is written above-Doesn't this make WEF a terrorist organization?

🤔

No, the WEF wants to kill way more people than terrorists do.

For all wondering, this can pass from animals to humans, animals to animals and human to animals-—plus other various methods below:

SEPTEMBER 3, 2019 BY BEEF-CATTLE
How is foot-and-mouth disease spread?
Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) can be transmitted in a variety of ways, the most common being direct contact with an infected animal. Once infected, animals become “virus factories,” capable of spreading high numbers of viral particles to other animals and into the environment. Infected swine, in particular, can release millions of viral particles when they exhale. The airborne virus can then be breathed in by nearby susceptible animals. Persons who have been around infected animals also are capable of carrying the virus in their nasal passages for as long as 28 hours. While the disease is not considered to be a threat to humans, it is possible for a person to spread the virus to susceptible animals. The disease also can be spread when susceptible animals come into contact with feed, feeding utensils, vehicles, clothing, or holding facilities contaminated with the virus. The FMD virus also can reside in the raw meat, animal products, or milk from FMD-exposed or infected animals. Outbreaks of FMD have begun after waste food containing raw meat scraps collected from international ships (swill) was fed to swine.

Decimate means remove one tenth of.

The meaning of this word is getting lost.

Devastate is the better term here I think.

Not sure what to make of this ‘news.’ Here is an article that says we now have an animal vaccine to control FMD, but will the anti-human/anti-animal crazies produce it or even tell us about it? FMD has been around seemingly forever. I remember it being discussed during my growing-up years on a Midwestern farm. I don’t know why they changed the name from hoof and mouth disease, which is what I knew it as. Perhaps, because it only affects cloven-hooved animals.

That they want to eliminate anyway.
