I think gas went negative at one point in the last year.
Quick google shows last October for Permian. The producers had to pay folks to take the gas.

1000 cubic feet is about 1 million BTU which is about the same as 8 gallons of gasoline. I’m a buyer of gasoline for 40 cents a gallon. of course that’s a wholesale price and the pipeline costs another 75 cents per gallon equivalent, but God Bless American Energy
