And I would assume the HP have strip heat as back up
for when its too cold to produce many btus.

Crap. I thought I was the only one getting bent over.
Just had solar panels installed which went online in November.
Most recent bill is $374.91.

What was the expense for solar and do you still pay monthly? We are exclusively wood for heat, but have considered solar for electricity. Tired of outrageous bills. Are you still on the grid? Thank-you, in advance.

The total expense is going to be $30,000. However, once what I generate starts to equalize with the amount I use, my electric bill will be replaced with my payments for the solar panels of $95.00 per month.

Considering the price of natural gas, thanks to Brandon, I will probably be running space heaters in my house next winter, so I use hardly any natural gas.

I’m still on the grid. I didn’t get the kind of system that uses the solar panels to run batteries. I didn’t want to deal with the chemicals and maintenance.

I say it is 100% agenda driven politics. All companies just pass through the government-imposed cost increases.

This GD government doesn't care one whit for its citizens. Not one little teensy bit. It is fighting against us.

Why would a utility collude with a government that wants to put them out of business?

1000 cubic feet is about 1 million BTU which is about the same as 8 gallons of gasoline. I’m a buyer of gasoline for 40 cents a gallon. of course that’s a wholesale price and the pipeline costs another 75 cents per gallon equivalent, but God Bless American Energy

The burner tip price is $15 to nearly $20 a thousand.

I was a producer for more than 40 years. Well head price is not my point.

Never wrestle with apig. Everybody gets dirty and the pig loves it.

So go buy a propane submarine. So your wife can do some legitimate cooking. The collards are in prime right now. You need to be shitting out greens right now. I have loads of collards in me refrigerator right now

Xcel profits from the 'renewable energy' programs and receives subsidies corresponding to their investment in them.
