Whoever wins the primary, runs. Period. We don’t have a coronation here. One group seems to be a group of spoiled brats.

Yep, and at that time people can decide how they will vote for President in the general election. If a Romney were to win, I'd do a write in.

Some people think they are entitled to the nomination and/or the office.

Fact is, there is only one Constitutional authority: the Electoral College.

Did you vote for Romney or McCain?

If DeSantis wins the primary, great. But off hand, there isn’t anyone else besides Trump that I would vote for that I am aware of who is under serious consideration.

And rather than being creative in voting (I did vote for a former governor of Massachusettes when Romeny ran—I wrote in Coolidge, and I wrote in Palin when she was running for VP—but I opted for Taft at the top of the ticket—he deserved a second term).

Too bad Reagan isn’t eligible for a third term. I was too young to vote for him.

(The constitution does provide that someone who dies will be replaced, but says nothing about someone who is dead when elected).
