Russia expressed mounting fury at the prospect of modern Western tanks being sent to Ukraine.

The Kremlin's spokesman described it as an "absurd" plan that scuppers the prospect of talks to end the war.

The Russian Embassy in Berlin called the German government's decision "extremely dangerous" and said it "takes the conflict to a new level of confrontation."

Or Putin could recall his army

But that wouldn't stop the Ukes from shelling Russian speaking civilians in the Donbass, would it.

Even Putin has said (a link to the the vid was posted here on FR about this time last year) that Russia cannot defeat NATO in a large conventional war.

Just like to point out to everyone who’s so scared of Russia that the United States of America has a pretty good record of going absolutely apes s*** on anybody that really messes with us. Russia is well aware of that.

Not sure. They are highly mobile, so the Russians would have to find them, plus the Ukes have made mockups to drive around as well.

What's amazing is we have sent only 20, and they've had such an effect, even without the longer range missiles.

Ohs nos red lines have been crossed.

Like when the soviet pilots were shooting down our pilots in the Korean war?

Or soviet pilots and SAM system operators shooting down our pilots during the Vietnam war?

Or the half dozen or so times when the soviets shot at or outright shot down our pilots in international airspace?

Russians had no problem with supplying our enemies in Korea and Vietnam. Nor did they have any problems with supplying terrorist groups either during the 70’s and 80’s.

Putin is full of sh*t.

Booting Russia’s butt out of Ukraine isn’t Barbarossa, and right now the infrastructure looks pretty rotten.

Williams, question; With the walls closing in on the corrupt Ukrainian government, is Zelenskyy corrupt, or is he honest?

Last I heard (which admittedly was over a month ago) the Russians had failed to destroy any HIMARS in Ukraine, despite claiming to have destroyed many more than we even sent.

They’ve been used to good effect, yes, but the Ukies need a lot more* AND the ATACMS.

*Even that over-optimist Ben Hodges was saying 60 or 80 HIMARS some months ago. Then get other operators to make it an even 100 or have them send some of the larger GMLRS compatible with ATACMS. (Not as mobile, but can hang further back.)

The red line that was crossed, was known as the Russian/
Ukrainian border.

The red lines were crossed when Putin invaded any part of Ukraine, and western leaders were stupid to not make the 100% clear, before hand.

Makes one think maybe everything is going according to plan...

“But that wouldn’t stop the Ukes from shelling Russian speaking civilians in the Donbass, would it.”

None of that was happening until YOUR BOI Putin started messing with the Ukraine.

The first attacks against civilians in the Donbass were carried out by Wagner.
