Counter-terrorism authorities are investigating after a bulk shipment of unregistered—and potentially lethal—nuclear material was ferried off of an airplane at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 4 on Dec. 29. The cargo, which originated in Pakistan and was smuggled into London from Oman aboard the hold of a passenger flight, was intended for Iranian nationals in the U.K., according to The Sun. “The race is on to trace everyone involved,” said an unidentified Heathrow source who spoke with the newspaper. “Security bosses are treating this with the seriousness it deserves. Protocol was not followed and this is now an anti-terror operation. There are real concerns over what the Iranians living here wanted with non-disclosed nuclear material,” they added. The shipment has triggered fears that a dirty bomb, a mixture made of explosives and radioactive material, was being built in Britain. No arrests have yet been made in the case.
In 2004 a film called Dirty War predicted this exact scenario.
Terrorists build a radiological dirty bomb and detonate it in London.

Seeing as how they are well on their way to turning London into a muslim city, I would think they might pick a different target. Maybe Aberdeen or something.

The concept of a “dirty bomb” is very real and for “area denial” in a large metropolitan area it would create a mess.
That’s not how it works....
Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, all those Muslim enclaves get the bombs.

Some important facts would be useful to include in this article. For instance: the quantity of uranium; was it mineral ore; was it processed ore; was it “yellowcake;” was it a slurry; had it been enriched to any degree.

Well at least the detective might have a radioactive trail to follow, anywhere where the Uranium has been and has traveled should leave a trail. shouldn’t be hard for a Geiger counter to follow the trail or what ever they would use for Uranium now days.

The problem with what you propose is that most of the Iranian people do not support the terror state they live under. Try to speak out in Iran and see what happens to you (hint - it ain’t good). They rise up at great risks to protest against that regime and they get no support from the West.
There are many things this administration is doing that I disagree with, but you and I have more power than the Persian people do because at least we can sit here and talk about our disagreements. They do that and disappear into some really nasty jails (or worse). If some in our nation have their way it will be the same here!
Just provided as food for thought. The Iranian Regime rules through fear and force - not a mandate. It was one of the most successful coups in modern history when they deposed the Shah and our government was embroiled in it from start to finish.
Most of the Iranian people are hostages in a nation ruled by a very brutal regime - not cheerleaders. We cannot comprehend the fear they live under..... it’s like the Spanish Inquisition there.

Pakistan, its people, government and intelligence agencies are the worst human beings on this planet.
Wonder what city they are building one in the USA? With all the unknown getaways at the border there could be several tons of the stuff someplace in our country and the folks who know what to do with it.
There’s got to be a joke about yellow cake and airline food burried in there somewhere.
