Well, yes, burning natural gas is bound to release some undesirable compounds, but gas cook tops and stoves should be vented via an exhaust fan to outside the house.
That said, once you cook with an induction cook top for a while, I don’t see how there’s any going back to gas or conventional electric cook top.
I just got an induction electric stove to replace a 40-year-old electric coil stove.
Wow! What a terrific stove top! It heats stuff in a flash—gets a pot of water boiling in less than a minute. I had to get new cookware because it doesn’t work with my old aluminum stuff.
No need to get a gas stove. Induction is a wonderful alternative!
Hated it.
You can not can on an induction, it is too delicate.
Appliances in my home need to be sturdy.
If they need coddling they are out the door.
