Well, since the manufacturers don’t sell to private individuals in CA, it appears to be a whole lot of bluster for nothing.

How will this benefit anyone in Cali if the gun manufacturer is not in Cali?

Every single transaction from a gun manufacturer requires federal permission to proceed, because they only sell through FFLs. So the feds are at least as culpable.

Gunmakers might consider refusing to sell to any CA entity, especially CA government entities.

This naturally begs questions such as, will abortionists be used for murder? But then there's no logic in Freakafornia.

How is this not a clear violation of the 2005 Protection of Legal Commerce of Firearms Act?

Gun Makers were stupid not to have un-assed Kommiefornia years ago, to include refusing to sell to all state and local agencies, including Law Enforcement. Then let them reap what they sow.

The correct solution is to turn back every one of these "suits" with "no standing" and compel the litigant to pay all of the legal costs borne by the "defendant".

“The Court declares California Civil Code § 1021.11 to be unconstitutional and permanently enjoins the Defendants from bringing any action or motion under § 1021.11 to obtain an award of attorney’s fees and costs. “
