Just because.

So go ahead and sue. They have more lawyers than you.

Besides, you have "no standing" according to the courts in California, unless you have already been sanctioned by enforcement of this new "law". Most judges are fully supportive of directives that will eliminate firearms in the hands of ordinary peasants - err, "citizens".

Democrats will do anything they want, and demand others follow whatever orders they give them. The pretense of law is wearing thin these days.
