Biden second-quarter job numbers off by 1 million, Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank says

The Biden administration vastly overstated its estimate that employers created more than 1 million jobs in the second quarter of this year, claiming historic job growth when in fact hiring had stalled, according to a new estimate.

Job growth was “essentially flat” in the second quarter with only 10,500 jobs added, the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia said.

Republicans are accusing the administration of lying about the employment data in an election year and are demanding answers.

I don’t know how I missed this as it’s a few days old, but Tucker lead with this tonight. I suppose I was too busy complaining about the delta between the ADP and BLS November reports. There was a 100k manufacturing jobs lost in the ADP report, but not the BLS.

The one million difference for Q2 is not a mistake. It was intentional to throw the election to Democrats.

It’s clear the deep state has and continues to cook the books. There is no need for the BLS when the private sector produces real numbers without tax dollars. Everyone at BLS working on unemployment reports need to be tried and convicted of fraud, the rot in the DC Gulag. The BLS needs to be shuttered.
