OPENING EXCERPT (Video is 23 minutes long, and well worth it):
You know, it doesn't take a Rocket Surgeon to come to the conclusion that we (and by we, I don't mean just US citizens, but common people all around the world) are being lied to by our global elites, constantly, energetically, we're being lied to a lot, and we know it.
In fact, we live in a world where someone can walk up to you, punch you in the face, and then claim that you hit them. And, if you try to argue what you know to be true, you'll be told that an independent panel of fact checkers has determined your claim to be either false, misleading, or missing context, and that, it seems, is the end of that in this case.
Now, I have a solid theory about why the global elites are lying to us, and I have a pretty good idea what they are lying about. What I am interested in right now is: How?
How are they getting away with it?
Well, they get away with it because they are masters of pyschological manipulation. It's almost like they can read our minds.
We're going to explore how people can weaponize trust...
He went to this show because he was interested in seeing this man perform whatever process he used to at least give the appearance of reading the minds of random people in the audience or display his incredible feats of memory.
When the show was done, he figured out how each "mind reading" or memory stunt was performed, and broke it down for the viewers of his video. It was extremely entertaining.
Basically, the performer was "a confidence man" who used mechanisms to get audience members to trust him, had confederates planted in the crowd to assist him (they were part of the show) set the stage, and then blatantly lied to the audience to run his "confidence game" on them to induce them to believe he could really read minds and perform staggering feats of memory.
He makes the comparison to entering a movie theater to see a movie about Werewolves, and when you sit down and the movie starts, you "suspend your belief" in order to enjoy the movie. The movie starts, you see a Werewolf (that you don't believe in) and...while you watch, you let your mind believe, and...you are entertained.
But he spends the last four or five minutes of the video taking what he discovered from watching an entertaining theater show, and using it to explain what we see in our own government and governments around the world.
The Key Quote from his whole video:
"The most important way to weaponize trust is making sure you see what you expect to see, and you see it from the people you would expect to see it from. That, and the assumption that the people who look like they could not possibly be part of the act...are part of the act. Take this guy, for example: James Comey, former Director of the FBI, a six foot eight inch, All-American, Square Jawed Lawman. The Town Marshall, Gary Cooper, Former Eagle Scout, no doubt, and exactly the kind of man who would find himself in charge of that Pillar of Integrity known as The Federal Bureau of Investigation. You see that guy standing there, his hand raised, and he has to be telling the truth. But, when you see him out of costume, it becomes a little less convincing, doesn't it?"
I notice that people who have TeeVee have a difficult time blocking out the tsunami of lies from the Media and social media.
I also have never gotten a Fecesbuch account.
Anonymous Twitter, yes - but after several suspensions, I gave up on the obviously manipulated information I was seeing.
Thought you might appreciate this video, given our last exchange about the Tucker Carlson/Tara Reade interview...
I don’t start many threads (it says I’ve posted a total of 161 threads and 90,663 replies!) but I found this so entertaining and compelling, I thought it would make 162 threads for me)
I stopped watching television, reading newspapers and reading periodicals like Newsweek back somewhere around 1998 or so.
I watch movies (especially old ones now) and an occasional sporting event in which I turn the sound down, and like you, I have never opened or used any kind of social media account.
But I stay informed.
I got divorced in 1977. Left all the TVs behind.
I really REALLY wish Bill Whittle would go back to publishing in print. I liked his essays a lot. Now I am cut off from him. I have neither the patience nor the bandwith to watch video.

One can watch anything and critically examine it, discarding a piece in whole or in part. It’s a lot easier if you’re a believer in Jesus Christ, having been awakened to The Truth. So much easier to see The Lie when it comes pouring out every magazine, TV show, book, movie, etc.
EXCELLENT! Bill Whittle is a genius!
Watch the video, it’s more than worth your time.
I found it to be entertaining, the way he broke down each stunt in the theater production, and then tied it in to the “Confidence Game” being played by elites at a global level.
I think having a foundation based on Christian values is a good place to start with on nearly anything.
What I do for instances like this is find the Youtube video, do the "show transcript" option, toggle timestamps if I feel like just straight reading without the timestamp, highlight all the text and then copy it to the Notepad app.
I can then read the transcript at my leisure.
A little "Wall Of Text-y", but it gets the job done.
Takes all of a minute.
Theater is what politics is today, while the counting of the ?box office receipts" in the backroom hidden away from the ticket buyers is the real metric.
Whittle's presentation is worthwhile listening to, since there is little to watch. For those who say they haven't the time to listen, a question: what have you time for that takes about twenty minutes out of your day?
Heh, one cannot fault the theater, since it is “entertainment” like seeing a deliberate deception for the form of entertaining paying customers, and I get that.
I just enjoyed his breakdown. He is a very astute and intelligent man.
I regard him as one of the leading conservative pundits out there for the last 8-10 years or so.

LOL, I thought politics was “Sports for ugly and untalented people”
“I have neither the patience nor the bandwith to watch video.”
Thank the Lord for the printed word!
So much wisdom from Bill yet so few will consume it.
It is disappointing that he isn't better known on our side.
I became a member at his website, and was so impressed with the down-to-earth simplicity of these videos they sent me on DVDs as a perk for joining up, that I had planned to buy about 20 copies at $25 a pop to give to people I know, only to find he made them available to the general public for free.

Part 2: The Problem with Elitism
Part 7: American Exceptionalism
Next year, my Republican Town Committee is going to set up a booth at our annual Octoberfest (The Dems always do it) and I suggested we could model it after Stephen Crowder's "Change My Mind" as in: "I am a Conservative. Change My Mind".
I could do this at the drop of a hat, but before I do it, I will watch these, just to freshen my perspective!
