Karl Rove fumes that Trump lost Georgia Senate race for the GOP: 'We got our clock cleaned'

The midterm elections are officially over after Sen. Raphael Warnock defeated GOP nominee Herschel Walker by nearly 3 percentage points in Georgia’s Senate runoff. While Democrats celebrate their 51st seat in the upper chamber, Karl Rove, a veteran GOP strategist and Fox News contributor, says the Republican loss was avoidable.

"It shouldn't have been," Rove told Fox News Digital. "We had a terrible candidate who was well-meaning but plagued with a lot of scandal and was not particularly good on the campaign trail."

Republicans' loss in the Peach State boils down to poor candidate quality at the hands of President Donald Trump, according to Rove.

"It just shows again he’s a bad picker," Rove said.

Trump totally stayed out of that run off election. Rove can go straight to hell.

What a stupid statement. Why didn’t they stay home in November? Kemp won in a walk. And guess what... Trump HATES Kemp. Yet Republicans came out anyway and resoundingly voted Kemp into office.

Why didn’t they do the same for Walker? uh....have you listened to the man try to speak? Dumb as a bag of hammers.

If this is not true, then please explain the mentality of hundreds of thousands of voters who supposedly voted for Kemp for governor and then Warnock for Senator.

Simple...Kemp's opposition was the disgusting, odious fat turd, Stacy Abrams.

HAH. So Trump does what the GOP wants now? The GOP tells Trump to stay and away and he says “yessur” and shuffles away quietly?

The Trump fart sniffers are really amazing. Nothing is EVER his fault.

Rove describing his candidate Raphael Warnock.

They apparently like your choices even less. Also, perhaps if Ga. went to closed primaries, that also might not effect outcomes. Refusing to financially support candidates on the republic ticket, is a game breaker for sure.

However, Rove, your Republican Party has created the mess this nation now faces, in the first place. You are worthless, and the Republican Party is worthless. it's why we went to Trump in the first place. He certainly couldn't do any worse than you guys have been doing. even when you win we seem to lose. It's almost like you would rather lose. President trump was actually far more effective on producing actual change in this country. Too bad so many stupid people are allowed to vote, along with illegals.

Perhaps you should try to either quit allowing the Democrats to cheat, or build a better ground game so that you can cheat better than the Democrats do, since you seem incapable of confronting cheating in the first place.

Lastly, denouncing the majority your base at every opportunity, is probably not the most effective way of getting the base out to vote.

I think everyone is over-analyzing the results

To me it is not complicated...America is well on its way to socialism and the mouth-breathers are not opposed to this.
Campaign slogans of, “smaller government, less spending” does not work in much of the country.
The low information voter, (the majority) are perfectly happy with government in every part of their lives.

Hey congratulations! Finally pulled out the “troll” card. The card you play when you have nothing else in your hand!

I don’t live in Florida but everyone I have talked to from Florida things Desantis is a great governor. I hope he runs. I think he’s got momentum, he’s proved he can win big in a purple state, and he’ll take on the woketards.

Trump at this point is just banging on his high chair with his spoon.

Karl Rove, the useless slimy slithery snake needs to change parties. He does not represent the average working American. He is a Deep State Elitist that represents the new American Socialist Party. He sure as heck has no interest in making America Great. He is for Open Borders (keeping wages low), no end in sight wars, promotes China interests at the expense of American manufacturing, does little to stop the war on energy. He is a useless slimy slithery snake.

So none of the issues identified in Georgia from 2020 election were corrected, but the GOP side of UniParty expected a different result.
