I can only guess that Trump thinks he has a relationship with McCarthy
Trump is not a politician and you can tell sometimes but you know he at least five and his common sense usually translates into conservative action
If not for the establishment he would’ve overturn Obamacare and gotten the wall built
In a certain hypocrisy I myself have benefited from Obamacare since I’ve gotten old but I’ll but I’m not the only one here it’s the pre-existing that helped me
My medical insurance agent Hustler kid asked for my tax returns and he saw all my business depreciation and amortization loss carryover’s and said let me see if I can qualify you for subsidies and instantaneously my premiums went from 1400 a month for a family of five down to 250

My wife and I have long concluded that Trump has had a long relationship with McCarthy, among others that we personally think he needs to be avoiding for advice, etc.
We have long been Trump voters but needless to say, some of his decisions, appointees, etc. are highly dubious if not outright questionable as to who exactly he is listening to, etc.
There’s always the possibility that McCarthy will work with enough Democrats who would replace those Republicans on the far right

Right. Remember, it doesn't HAVE TO be a Freedom Caucus member but someone who is acceptable to the Freedom Caucus and the moderate GOP lawmakers.

McCarthy will bypass conservatives and work his deals with RATs.
It’s a given.
There is simply no way we can get someone more conservative than McCarthy. The votes just aren’t there, and too many people in the GOP have to do it in order to keep their own place in leadership roles and committees.
The best we can do is suck it up and hope that we can at least stop some of the bleeding.
We couldn’t even get a gigantic wave election with Biden in the WH. The party is seriously fractured because the old timers refuse to let us have the final say.
Whether we like it or not, we simply didn’t drzin the swamp.

Lets face it, until a few more election cycles have passed
and we have increased the numbers of Conservatives in the
house enough, we’ll still get RINOs crossing over.
The absolute last thing I want to see is a Democrat speaker,
and if McCarthy is challenged by a Conservative, the RINOs
might join the Democrats and vote for a Democrat.
You know they think Conservatives are racists and represent
terrorists, to they are highly motivated to stop them from
getting the top spot.
I believe this is what Trump and Don are trying to prevent.
I’m not certain they are wrong.
It’s so frustrating these days. Even when we win we lose.

I see it as a negotiating tactic. McCarthy needs to bend a little to get more votes. Why Trump is not on board with squeezing McCarthy is strange.
Regardless, I say get everything in writing or dont vote for this RINO pig. Give it all to the dems and lets see how bad it gets. Maybe it will get bad enough that people will wake the F up and toss these criminals in jail.
We have nothing to lose. McCarthy will stab us in the back over and over and over again. Just like Paul Ryan. Ryan approved every Obama budget that came up. No negotiating no push back, just a vote. McCarthy will do the same.
Now is the time to push McCarthy to conceded power. If he refuses, let the dems take it.
