The most egregious part of this article:

"You know who didn’t spend a lot of money? Donald Trump. Sitting on a warchest of $92 million, he spent just 22% of it on the midterms nationwide.

Trump allowed Masters to send out a fundraising message to the former president’s donor list in late October. The split? For every dollar donated, 99 cents would go to Trump, 1 cent to Masters."

The NYPost can stuff it (and yes, I’m baaack and had just about enough of the gaslighting by the MSM - and RNC - trying to demoralize Trumpsters)

In case it hasn’t been emphasized enough.....

the Elections weren’t a Trump problem. It remains a RNC leadership problem and they should be fired for giving us 0 for 3 by failing to counterattack the Dems spending $43million funding weak Rep candidates in primaries. Even so....

straight from ballotpedia:

Trump Endorsements2022
primary endorsements 241 won 93%
General election 254 won 80%

“Of the 176 contested primaries that took place before September 15, 2022, in which Trump endorsed (excluding five races in which candidates didn’t make the ballot), 159 Trump endorsees won and 17 lost. The endorsement success rate in that group of races was 90%.”

https://ballotpedia.org/Endorsements_by_Donald_Trump

Trump ROCKS, Democrats LIE like the dogs they are, and it’s time to start firing up the Trump Train 2024 !!

> this midterm miss is all because of him <

What a goofy headline. So ballot harvesting, McConnell’s shifting of money, etc. played no part?

On the other hand, it’s just as wrong to say that Trump had nothing to do with it. We need a frank assessment of this election if we are to avoid a similar debacle in 2024.

Unfortunately, I don’t think that frank assessment will ever come. McConnell will return as GOP Senate leader. Trump will continue saying things that push away the middle. And ballot harvesting? Full speed ahead.

Absent another Ronald Reagan appearing, I suppose we’ll all soon learn what it’s like to live in a one-party dictatorship.

It’s unlikely that the results of a thousand elections could have just one cause.

Also, “Trump” is both what Trump says and does, and that demon in the Democrats’ minds that can be invoked to get votes, so Trump would be an issue even if he had stayed at home and said nothing.

Trump could have done more. Same thing with McConnell, McCarthy, Scott, etc. Lindsey Graham didn’t help much either.

In Arizona, for one, McConnell had wanted popular Gov. Doug Ducey to run. But ex-President Donald Trump had slandered Ducey, vowing to oppose him every step of the way because he had refused to illegally overturn the results of the 2020 election. So the GOP got Blake Masters, who just lost to Democrat Mark Kelly.

Anyone who comes down on the side of the GOP establishment in Arizona isn't going to have any traction with me. How many Freepers remember this progression of idiocy in that state?

1. Notorious RINO Jeff Flake announces that he won't run for re-election in 2018.
2. September 2018 ... Establishment hack John Kyl is named as interim U.S. Senator to replace the rancid carcass of John McCain in September 2018.
3. November 2018 ... Establishment hack Martha McSally loses to Kyrsten Sinema in the 2018 election.
4. December 2018 ... Kyl resigns from his interim post, effective December 31st.
5. January 2019 ... AZ Gov. Doug Ducey announces that Kyl's replacement as interim U.S. Senator is -- get this -- Martha McSally.
6. November 2020 ... Martha McSally loses to Democrat Mark Kelly in the special election to fill out the remainder of McCain's term until 2022. This gives McSally the ignominious distinction of losing two consecutive U.S. Senate elections in Arizona -- with the SECOND one as an appointed incumbent after she lost the FIRST one.

Don’t believe Trump — this midterm miss is all because of him

No, definitely not all because of Trump, but who can say he had an overall positive effect on the mid-term elections?

Posts like this and comments like this make my blood boil.
I am going to go the distance!!! This is my country and weak kneed people are not helping..
I won’t say my age... but older than most of you all.
My father served in WWII in France.
My husband served 4 years Army
My brother served 4 years Army
I am a fighter and cannot stand to see our country fall to the least of all the inhabitants of this land.. it doesn’t have to be that way!
I ask this question.. IF we had put our choice for President in the seat of power.. If we had just walked him in .. If we had announced we had won and held the ceremony and the coronation of our person as President... would it have succeeded? Would the media...the left.. the dems... have said well ok if you insist.???

Dont tell me there is no proof of cheating... there is unless you live in the world of deny and want it the way it is.. I could go over the list of proof and it would not matter to you who don’t want to believe it. One thing I will add is the laptop. All in the know, know what is in that laptop and it’s enough to sink a family...that’s why it was kept hidden.

When in a lifetime.. has the United States of America had the government turn on the people... when in a lifetime has a man who was doing a great job, been hit on with such force that the whole of the government has come down on him.. went to his home and ransacked it on all floors and in every room...

When has there been a time when I have such a loathing for the government ... and the reason is they have lost their minds.. they are going after us.. citizens.. and propping up the corrupt and the corruption. I never would have believed it possible in the land of the free!

All this has come to light with the election of President Trump. He came in as a ray of light and evil does not like light! They rebelled as never before... they joined forces and sent every weapon they had at Trump. He kept working and he kept fixing this nation..

You who hate him... to get real serious... give me your reasons and where did you get them!! Do you know when you hear things.. whether you are “listening” or not.. your brain hears it and it’s in your head. that is where you get these ideas that don’t hold water and don’t make sense. But where did you get your hate for Trump? Compared to saving a nation... what took precedent in your minds to just hate the man.

I have much more to say...but this is lengthy. when you all have lived 100 years... when you have lived even 80 years.. what will life have taught you on right and wrong. good and evil!?

The unfairness the government is handing out... is communism.
Do you know what communism is? better find out ...

I don’t like stupidity. I don’t like to see people accept what others say without asking is it right or is it not.. does it help or does it harm.

I am going to add my opinion on Trump.. in a few....

I am so disgusted with all the talk.. it’s
dangerous. Please put all this in a proper zone so we can save this nation.

First let me explain Trump and what the left is doing...you are helping the enemy. They desperately need to separate Trump from his support. How easy will that be? It’s already started.

Donald J Trump. A man with a hi IQ. They think different. The gift that propels them is misunderstood by many. They think beyond.. they work ahead.. they have to remind themselves not everyone is there yet.

He is a business man and in past years he has built a fortune ..among NY elite, and some fought this brash young man. But he had the ability and used it to buy, sell and build an empire. He is used to being criticized for his abilities...he was on the move.

All the time he was advancing.. he helped anyone who needed it. He was a figure on his way.. it was natural to him to work hard and succeed.. there was no time to fail.. just pick up and keep on.

There were court battles.. he didn’t live worried or anxious.. he lived determined. He had the fighting him and it came in handy.

Trump had high expectations from men in the business world. He also had deep feelings of compassion for the people of less success. He ‘had much’ and gave much. His outgoing.. more than life..personality irritated some and enthused others.

His life was not about him.. it was about using the abundant abilities in his head for all the things it produced if ya just work hard..and long hours.

When in his 70s he left a comfy life.. it was to serve others. He had much, he loved this country and he was willing to serve. Always ahead of himself, the elite who thought they were the only ones allowed to be masters..did not like Trump’s fast moving know how and considered him brash. Yes, brash but comfortable with the people.. the secret to that is.. he cared.. he cares.

I stop here.. it’s lengthy.. but I will add.. wherever Trump goes.. leaders follow him.. they are drawn to this personality... they admire him.... Trump is not intimidated by anyone.. he is capable of dealing with the enemy and earn respect.

What you see and gripe about.. is what makes him our best asset in a world of power struggles all over. Trump knows.. he gets it.. and he is risking it all ...using his abilities to keep our Republic free and successful..
A Republic.. if you can keep it!

All while the enormously unpopular, incompetent President Joe Biden sits in the White House.

The election should have been about him. Instead, you made it about you. And since you made it all about you, you are the only one to blame.

The truth hurts.

I believe Mitch McConnell is the head honcho of the Senate’s Deep State so no sale on this. Looks to me like most members of Congre$$ are only interested in staying in Congre$$ as it appears to be a quick road to garnering much $$$$$ these days.

I refuse to listen to this TDS BS, especially about not picking the ‘right’ candidates. This election, those seats that were Democrat and vulnerable, were STOLEN. Slow walking counting, ‘finding’ missing ballots and the whole shebang.

THEY, Democrats ran an actual DEAD MAN for office (who won, BTW) and another oaf vegetable for Senator. They also ran trannies and other leftists who wouldn’t even debate their opponents. Leftist poll workers and government SoS pukes in California, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Nevada STOLE it. Not because of Trump.

How many other republicans emptied their war chests or raised money for Masters? How much did the RNCC put into Blake Master’s war chest? How many ads did they buy? Have you fallen into the MSM cherrypicking trap? It’s so easy to blame Trump instead of leadership. So easy to join the MSM/DNC Trump bashing. See post 49 for some reality.

I don’t want to hear it Mitch...

You spent how many tens if not 100’s of Millions pushing OZ, and absolute CRAP candidate... and you can’t blame Trump for the house underperformance.

The “its all Trump’s fault” is nonsense.

GOP did not press its advantage, and its ground game was a joke... Relied entirely on huge ad buys and nagging texts, rather than actually going out and getting out the vote in person.

GOP Establishment utterly crapped the bed.

Yes, Trump has some culpability in this too, but to try to lay the blame for the mess as just 1 person or 1 item is nonsense.

There were failures, tactical, and systemic all around this election made by the GOP... and until folks are willing to accept that, nothing is going to change.

NeverTrumpers are going to want the narrative to be its Trump’s fault... and that’s naive and stupid, but they want him gone, and will present any narrative needed to get him gone.
