The Fox News Decision Desk can project that Sheriff Joe Lombardo, a Republican, will become the next Governor of Nevada. He has unseated Democratic incumbent Steve Sisolak.
The economy and inflation, education, crime, and the governor’s performance in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic were key issues in the gubernatorial campaign.
Sisolak was elected governor in 2018 after spending nearly a decade as a Clark County Commissioner. Lombardo, after serving more than two decades in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, was elected Clark County Sheriff in 2014. Clark County covers just 7% of the Nevada’s land area, but holds nearly three-quarters of the state’s population, making it by far Nevada’s most populous county.
Lombardo advanced to the general election after winning a crowded and contentious GOP gubernatorial primary, thanks in part to an endorsement from former President Donald Trump, who remains the Republican Party’s most popular and influential politicians.

I think the Demx media celebrated too soon
First order of business should be implementing Florida’s election system.
I guess this doesn’t count as being part of a red wave.
The US Senate seat is more important than the Nevada governorship, so the Rats are stealing harder there.
Unfortunately the RAT has just won the NV SOS race.
Doesn’t make sense in NV or GA. The GOPe wins at that level but can’t bring the senators over the finish line.
I hope one of Lombardo top priorities is taking measures against voter fraud in the state passing the same type of laws passed in Florida.

They already had that seat, no?
And we still just won the Governor’s seat.
Well, we control the SOS seat in Georgia.
And both candidates in Georgia are black. And we have the momentum.
I don’t know how much power over election reform the Sec of State has relative to the Gov. in Nevada. But if it’s similar to AZ (Hobbs vs. Ducey), there may be obstacles in cleaning up the election system. Time will tell.
I think they got their narrative out when voters were watching election results on Election Day. After that, it’s back to focusing on daily life for most people.

Lombardo went along with the FBI narrative after the mass shooting in Las Vegas. They owed him.
