Senate race is tightening. Oz is down 1 with lots more votes to come in. Rudy thinks he pulls it out.

There is a meme video clip that has been used for years here on FR showing people en mass jumping in a hole. It applies here.

Mastriano was just awful.

Wow, this says a lot about you. What? Did you want a f'g RINO to run?

C'mon, did you ever see him speak? In person?

I did. He hands over the mike to his wife after about five sentences and spends time talking about HER instead of the issues. He ends most sentences with a nervous little laugh. I voted for him, but frankly, I was wondering how he got to be a Colonel. Made me wonder more about the Army.

Maybe we should all join the Demcrata party and try to get rid of the labels.

I think you're being way too kind to Mastriano. I can point to three features of his campaign that gave every indication that he was destined for a humiliating defeat:

1. His refusal to speak to the mainstream media. I know the MSM is the enemy. But they have an audience, and any coverage of a campaign amounts to free advertising. Who came up with this brilliant idea for a major campaign?

2. That "Desert Storm Veteran" hat. The first time I saw his website photo with that stupid hat on several months ago, I knew this guy was toast. Desert Storm was more than 30 years ago, dude ... and hardly anyone even remembers it. And very few voters are impressed with that anymore. Importantly, he doesn't need to appeal to veterans, who are going to vote for him overwhelmingly anyway. This speaks to a bigger issue in his campaign that I'll address below in Item #3.

3. Turning his political campaign into a religious crusade. I have the utmost respect for dedicated Christians ... but, my heavens -- most American voters in large urban areas are completely turned off by that overt religiosity in politics. They find it weird at best and off-putting in most cases. This goes to the bigger point I mentioned above: I never saw any aspect of Mastriano's campaign that was aimed at attracting a single voter who wasn't already a dedicated supporter.

Based on early results, it seems to be becoming very clear that Americans WANT to continue living under communism...

Yawn...
Another pristine totally honest Cuba-style election under our belts...

The voters in Pennsylvania deserve what he does to them. Their prayers were answered. They got what he does to them.

What voters?

If mail-in is not abolished, it’s the vote counters that decide all elections.

Yes. Mail in is the nail in the coffin.

For what it's worth ...

Shapiro attracted a lot of support from establishment Republicans in PA. One reason for it is that the guy has already sold himself out to the same big corporate players who have backed the Pennsylvania GOP for years.

Vote counters decide all elections, that’s how it has always been.

They haven’t always had Department of “Justice” election observers aiding them in certain races, though.

There are reasons for that. For more than a 150 years Pennsylvania has been dominated by industries that only exist because of "big corporations."

That hasn't changed much. At the peak of its construction in 2020, the $10 billion Shell Polymers petrochemical plant nearing completion in the Pittsburgh area was the largest privately-funded construction project in the U.S. It takes a lot of barber shops, restaurants, and small professional offices to match that kind of enormous economic impact.

The Republicans left Mastriano out to dry by denying him the funding he needed to have a chance in this race.

The same goes for Tudor Dixon in Michigan.

This is partly on the RINO Establishment and partly on Trump. Neither stepped up to give them a fighting chance.

See Post #26. Mastriano didn’t earn a penny of funding from any outside group. He ran a putrid campaign built around a strategy that seemed to be cobbled together by a third grader.
