Air Force docs on GOP candidate’s sexual assault leaked to Democratic research firm: lawmakers

The Air Force will “hold accountable” whoever leaked confidential records holding private information about the sexual assault of a Republican House candidate and former officer, two GOP congressmen said Wednesday.

Reps. Jim Banks and Larry Bucshon (R-Ind.) said in a joint statement that Air Force watchdog Lt. Gen. Stephen Davis had told them the service took “full responsibility” for the release of Jennifer-Ruth Green’s confidential personnel records to an unnamed political research firm.

“On yesterday’s [Tuesday’s] call, the Air Force took full responsibility for improperly releasing Lt. Col. Green’s confidential personnel records to an opposition research firm just weeks before the midterm election,” the congressmen said. “Lt. Gen. Davis informed us that the leaker has been identified and will be held accountable.”

The document also made its way to Politico reporter Adam Wren, who published the information in an Oct. 7 profile of Green despite her pleas to keep the assault private. Politico spokesman Brad Dayspring told The Post Tuesday that the documents were “obtained by a public record request and provided to Politico by a source.”

“We said, ‘No, please don’t [publish the assault] – and they did it anyway,” Green said of Politico and Wren during an interview with Fox News Digital earlier this month. “At one point in my life I said to my assailant, ‘No, please stop, don’t’ and he did what he wanted to do. This is the exact same situation all over again, all because there was a man who wanted some sort of gratification.”

Wow, talk about perfectly describing the twisted mentality of most leftist “journalists” and politicians

If it’s true that her opponent shopped this info, he’s too stupid to serve. I know nothing of this race, but if she’s close the sympathy backlash should put her over the top. How I loath these rat vermin who would do this

A letter of commendation has been placed in the leaker's field personnel file.

Uh, taking full responsibility for a crime means you go to prison. I’m so sick of bureaucrats “taking full responsibility” and then carrying on doing what they’ve always been doing.

“Lt. Gen. Davis informed us that the leaker has been identified and will be held accountable.”

Is he a real general or a Dorkbama, the Muslim eunuch quota boy appointed one?

What a load of BS!

Personnel records are not Public Records.

It is hard to imagine a more obvious lie.

It is hard to imagine a reputable news organization even trying to obtain private personnel records with a FOIA request

Amazing how confidential information held by the gov’t is always leaked about Republicans, but never about Democrats.

Look at Rep. Frank Mrvan’s photo in the story.

Behind every rat face, there is a rat.

The victimization continues. You have to read this story very carefully to find out that Jennifer-Ruth Green is the victim. The headline isn’t at all clear that “candidate’s assault” means that the candidate is the victim, not the perp, and since it’s presented as a scandal, most people probably think the GOP candidate is the perp from reading that headline.

The truth would be: “Liberals sexually assault GOP candidate, then release details once they think it could hurt her.”

If Air Force watchdog Lt. Gen. Stephen Davis does not release the names of those USAF or civilian personnel responsible for the unauthorized leak, he should be court-martialed and his rank reduced to Private.

Of course, in the ChiComjoe kakistocracy with SecDefComPoop, that is unlikely to happen.

The AF makes a big deal about SAPR training and when a report is made it will remain confidential and effectively closed from disclosure. Just had this crap training rammed down my throat again.

I guess the guarantee of confidentiality is BS! Way to go AF. Sexual assaults are under reported as it is. Bet your metrics for next year will suck.

Yes, the headline made it seem like the GOP candidate had engaged in sexual assault.

Yeah, let’s not forget that the FBI raided the home of the guy who innocently received Hunter Biden’s laptop AND THEN TRIED TO GIVE IT BACK. And then raided the homes of the employees of the news agency which was told about the laptop... and rather than publishing it, sat on it because they weren’t sure it wasn’t illegally obtained. And then raided the homes of the employees of the news agency which finally did publish the contents after they found out about them because of the FBI raids.

Here is the best quote:
Jennifer-Ruth Green the Republican candidate for congress in Indiana is upset that the websiite 'politico' outet her sexual assault survivor. House GOP contender claims opponent, Politico pubbed details of Iraq sex assault to discredit her After Green was outed, she accused incumbent Democratic Rep. Frank Mrvan of “fishing” her assault story to news outlets, “asking them to share misinformation to portray me as a failed military officer who lacks integrity.”

Exactly. He should at least resign his commission. This utterance is just magic words to prevent people from noticing the systematic rot.
