WHO: 500M at risk without more physical activity

Nearly 500 million people worldwide will develop diseases due to physical inactivity between 2020 and 2030, according to a new report from the World Health Organization (WHO).

Unless action is taken to address the issue, half a billion people will develop heart disease, diabetes, obesity and other noncommunicable diseases during that period, the United Nations health agency concludes in its first-ever global status report on physical activity, published Wednesday.

Looking at data from 194 countries, the WHO estimates that treating new cases of those diseases will cost the global community $27 billion annually for a total of $300 billion by 2030.

“More than one in four adults and more than 80% of adolescents do not meet WHO’s recommended levels of physical activity for optimum health. … Widespread physical inactivity is also a major economic burden to national health systems, and to the economy worldwide,” the report reads.

Wasn’t WHO one of the cheerleaders for “stay at home” at the start of the plannedemic?

Maybe that 500 Million wouldn’t be such a risk if the bleeding heart liberals would stop making it unnecessary for them to get a job to get what they need to survive. Encouraging them to sit on their asses on the sofa watching Opie Winfrey and “Da View” all day while eating bon bons really can’t be considered physical activity.

We’ll soon be more involved in physical activity when we’re chopping wood every day to keep warm during the Dark Winters that Biden warned us were coming.

Put your favorite TV shows onto your phone.. Listen to them as you walk.

But walking doesn’t taste good fried.

You can never figure these people out. On the one hand they say there are too many people in the world and we need 15% of them gone, and on the other hand they ask for money so that 15% don’t die of heart disease. Meanwhile they say fertilizer is killing the earth so we have to stop growing food and people will starve to death. So they say we should send money to feed people with food that doesn’t exist so they won’t starve to death. And anyway if you stop feeding people they will get up off of their fat asses and get all the exercise they need trying to find food. Which won’t exist so 15% of people will die of starvation but not sedentary heart disease. Except the people who work for WHO that will be able to afford bypass surgery when they get sedentary heart disease and also they will always have plenty of food so they won’t starve to death. And anyway the people that work for WHO don’t see themselves as part of the 15% of people they say are causing overpopulation.

Approved WHO activities include foraging for bugs and berries. Pushing electric cars, riding a bicycle to the food lines, jumping from tall buildings or bridges, sorting out valuables from landfills.
