America First superstar Kari Lake says she is even willing to debate her Democrat opponent in likely the most hostile environment possible: The mean-girl-dominated, ultra-liberal chat show known as “The View.”
In the course of the campaign, Lake, the GOP’s gubernatorial nominee in Arizona and perhaps the best orator in the MAGA movement, has been trying to get Katie Hobbs, her rival and incumbent secretary of state (the official who is supposedly in charge of elections), to agree to a debate on TV.
Previously, Lake, who has vowed to clear her high-energy campaign schedule to allow for a Katie-vs.-Kari one-on-one, has even offered to let Democrat Hobbs and her handlers write the questions.
Ads by The Trump-endorsed Lake, who is well-known for sparring with the liberal media on the campaign trail to the delight of conservatives and free-speech advocates generally, is now willing to meet Hobbs in what would be a 3-on-1, interruption-filled encounter.
In a joint Blake [Masters] and Lake rally, Lake, 53, issued this challenge to a cheering audience of supporters:
“In case she’s watching, Katie, I will debate you on a stage, I will debate you in a parking lot, I will debate you in a library, I will debate you in a bar, I will debate you in a car. I will debate you on CNN; I will debate you on MSNBC. I’ll even debate you on ‘The View,’ and let Joy Behar and Whoopi ask the questions. Show some courage….”

Discretion, dear, is the better part of valor.
I’d be ok with Kari debating on the View. But could they ask “dum dum Farah” , the trump-hating turncoat, to be absent that day? I lose IQ points whenever I hear her talk.
That’s for Mitch and the others to do. Kari’s a streetfighter.
We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.
——Winston Churchill June 4, 1940
The TV women’s panel shows were not on then. In fact, a TV was not owned by very many people.
History info.:
World War II, with its freeze on commercial television and general technology shortages, delayed the rise of the medium. Before 1947, only a few thousand American homes owned television sets. Just five years later, that number jumped to 12 million. By 1955, half of American homes had a TV set.
How much did a TV cost in 1940’s?
In the late 1940s local stations did broadcast TV. This was the hippest thing to hit the airwaves and TVs themselves cost a small fortune to buy. In 1948 the “big-picture” TV set from Magnavox cost $279.50, which would be $3,025 in today’s money.
A loaf of bread cost 10 cents in 1940.
Negative, that’s master trolling right there.
Hobbs IQ is similar to Kamala...full retard.
She won’t debate.
This kind of Hubris can cost you an election. 3 against 1 with an editing room to distort every thing said. Why the hell do you throw your opponent a life line when you are ahead? Dumb.
Woefully lacking in the GOPe.
I’m conflicted
...because that would mean I would have to watch The Spew.
No. Stop. You’re winning. Don’t be a smart ass.
I’d get some popcorn ready for that!
Too clever by half, Kari. That would not end well for you, only because you’d get all the criticism and wouldn’t be able to get a word in edgewise.
Anyone who thinks Kari Lake can’t handle anything the hostile media throws at her doesn’t know Kari Lake. She’s gutted every “journalist” that has dared tried to trip her up, including Fox News and CNN.
Bold move, but would not even remotely be a controlled venue... 200 people on one side, and her on the other: might never get a word in edgewise (and they would also control the mics).
Kari’s offense is a good thing. Some posters here are worried but they need to remind themselves that this is the normal, or should be for the GOP, not the go along to get along assistant Dems like Mitt who exhibit the decorum of your typical country club do nothing Republican.
I don’t think a good move to go into a den of vipers.
I recommend Kari get a swine flu shot before she goes there.
this is a safe bet for Kari, there are no circumstances what so ever under which hobbs will debate her
Judge Jeanine handled herself well on the View. It can be done.
