House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said that House Republicans will not write “a blank check” to Ukraine if House Republicans take control of the chamber next year, marking one of the clearest signs that aid to the war-torn country fighting off Russian invasion will face a much tougher road in a GOP-led House.
“I think people are gonna be sitting in a recession and they’re not going to write a blank check to Ukraine. They just won’t do it,” McCarthy, who hopes to become Speaker if Republicans win the midterms, told Punchbowl News in an interview published Tuesday.

It matters a lot. The billions already sent are just a mere downpayment to the hundreds of billions that will follow to not only send arms and fund the salaries and pensions of the Ukrainian government, but also, to rebuild Ukraine. We spent trillions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The GOP must change course on Ukraine. The objective should be a negotiated end to this war as soon as possible. The US has the leverage over Zelensky to end this proxy war.
There should be no blank checks for anything. Period.
It’s about time, the Democrat created Russian Derangement Syndrome has crippled us since the Russian collusion hoax years ago, almost destroyed us with Trumps Impeachment scams- From the Ukrainian Vindman brothers to Hunter and Joes Ukrainian connection- sorry, nothing good comes out of Ukraine.
