And get a load of this from yesterday...

https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Why-The-US-Largest-Shale-Gas-Basin-Misses-Out-On-The-LNG-Boom.html

It’s not perplexing, though.

It’s evil.

And once you wrap your head around that fact, everything going on makes perfect sense.

Seems rather odd that natural gas futures have dropped to below $6/MMBtu which is the lowest in three months. I don’t think I’m inclined to just believe that this is due to “record domestic production levels and lower weather-driven demand”.

Perhaps some smart Freeper with their eye on natural gas has a better explanation....

I would say you are, indeed, prepared for a long, cold winter.

They can use their Green Energy and remain snug as a bug in a rug. No less that their god ,Lying Joe Biden informed them of that fact. And who up there does not wish for a White Christmas? 20 feet of white snow should be white enough. Of course, Lying Joe and his will be using electricity of gas to heat with.

Perception is a bigger factor than reality. The market sees rats losing in the coming election?

This is how they “force” everyone to go “green”. By denying you heating and fuel for cars, and soon products in the stores. These people full control the lives of the population along the Eastern Seaboard and the Western Seaboard.

Natural gas may be cheaper, but my utility company (Duke) charges not only for your usage, but adds an additional $40 each month just “to have” their natural gas service.

I have them “turn off” my natural gas (since only used for heating) from spring until Fall. I just had them “turn it on” last week again. So stupid to pay $240 for 6 months of NOT using it at all.

And they’ll still bill me the $17 to “turn it on” again, even though it was never actually disconnected other than a phone call in the spring when they quit charging me for it.

Since Covid they quit coming to the house in person twice a year to actually disconnect it or turn it back on (charging $17 to turn it back on) - so I still have the natural gas there at any time I want to use it - but once I start using it they start adding that additional $40.

I wish they’d get rid of that charge. It makes no sense other than for them to make more money.

We might get a small sample this week of what this winter could be like, this week a cold front is headed east, temperatures in North Florida are predicted to drop into the 40s with highs in the 60s which is cold for this time of year in Florida, a few 20 degree or colder nights in New England might be a preview of coming attractions.

We’ve been hauling out the long sleeve t-shirts and sweaters for the cool snap in Florida. I always love when local weather tells us to wear sweaters to keep warm.

I tried to warn those New England liberals. I told them to set up hamsters on treadmills to generate electricity. After all, that makes as much sense as relying on windmills. But did they listen? Noooo.

Here in WV, heating with wood is the norm. But I was driving through Northern Ohio last week, and noticed, even in the suburbs, people have wood stacked next to their garages. Numerous people have it for sale. Never seen so much firewood. People know what’s coming.

Best wishes for a mild New England winter...

Why? The majority of my fellow New Englanders are retards who voted for one of their own for POTATUS. Most of them don't have wood stoves and acres of woods to feed those stoves.

Choices should have consequences.

What good is a NG furnace if you don’t have the electricity to run fans to distribute the heat.

"The killed fracking....so wrong. Gas is still our best bet."

I agree 100%. It's hard to beat natural gas -- except for one thing. Natural gas is an energy source that the Dims can regulate away from you. Is there an energy source you can regulate on your own in the northeast that's do-able for at least half of your energy needs? Solar does that for me, but I live in Alabama.

Good point! The article talks about rolling blackouts. At least you can cook a hot meal and boil water on the gas range.
