The FBI offered ex-British intelligence agent Christopher Steele $1 million to corroborate salacious allegations made in his dossier against Donald Trump and members of his 2016 campaign, but he was unable to do so, an FBI official testified Tuesday.

The only coverage of this news I’ve seen so far is Fox so it appears the Deep State Media blackout on the Dunham investigation is in place
This should make it clear the FBI needs to be shut down.
Steele was unable to corroborate HIS OWN REPORT, even when offered $1M to do so. The problem was, Steel KNEW it was false, and didn’t want the legal jeopardy of lying to the FBI in case Trump somehow gained control of the DOJ while President.
We know Hillary and DNC paid Perkins Coie and Fusion GPS some $10M dollars, but I have never read of how much of that went to Steele for his fiction. Whatever it was, it’s an injustice that people are not in jail for this.

I would say this is unbelievable and maybe that was true 6 years ago, but either I am crazy or reality is stranger than fiction.

This isn’t news. I’d bet Inspector General Michael Horowitz has known this all along, and never chose disclose it, or recommend punishment for anyone involved.
I wouldn’t shut it down. I’d polygraph every employee. You can resign with no benefits except your retirement contribution. You can get caught lying and go to prison. Or you can tell the truth and keep your job.
Figure half will resign off the bat, with half of them afraid of getting caught lying. The goal is to keep the Boy Scouts.
