I didn’t watch the movie because I can’t stand watching women getting abused, particularly pregnant ones. That said, most likely these folks on the receiving end of this abuse by their local gestapo, at one time or another, supported the mullahs. Some years ago there was a video (on youtube IIRC) of an Iranian hanging of *three* people,two men and one woman) at once. They got some kind of sturdy metal rod and tied three nooses to it and put them around their necks.Then a guy signaled and the three people were slowly lifted from the ground into the air by a crane. The two guys were still from the start...maybe the pressure on their necks caused a stroke or something. But the woman,dressed head to toe in one of those black sacks,was dancing all around for about 45 seconds before she went still.Gruesome!!!

It looked real to me...but I suppose that it might not have been.
