Moscow said Wednesday it should be part of the probe into leaks on the Nord Stream gas pipelines, after Sweden blocked off the area around the pipelines pending an investigation.
"There should really be an investigation. Naturally, with the participation of Russia," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin said, as quoted by Russian news agencies.....
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said such a probe "required the cooperation of several countries."
He denounced an "acute shortage of communications and unwillingness of many countries to contact" Russia.....

Meanwhile, like good commies, the Kremlin fears not having access to information.
Moscow is right.
I disagree.
There’s no reason for Russia to blow up their own pipeline.
It’s either the Ukraine with US help or China.
- Russia invested billions into Nordstream I and II
- Russia gets approx 40% of its foreign currency income from these pipelines
- Russia sailed undetected all the way to Poland to exactly the same location where the US Navy was testing underwater drones just days prior
- and then blew up their own pipeline
- the same day, a new pipeline from Norway opens up, with the intent of supplying gas from the US, a “tremendous opportunity” for the US as stated by US Second of State Blinken
- Joe Biden said he would take out the Russian pipelines
- a minister from Poland publicly said thank you to the US the day after
Putting Russia on the investigation team looking into the Nord Stream leak would be like putting Gorelick in charge of the inquiry as to the failures of the U.S. intelligence community during 9/11. Oh, wait!...
Agreed. It may very well be that the Russians didn’t properly maintain the pipelines.

From article:
“The Nord pipelines weren’t in use. To me, that means it’s time for maintenance! Hard to maintain pipes when product is flowing.
Pipelines running methane, under saltwater, require PMCS [Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services] quicker than you’d think, and more often than you’d believe.
He notes they twice shut the pipelines down for maintenance — in July of 2020 and July of 2021. Both times they had issues restarting it. Moreover, there were four major disruptions in gas flow from December 21 through April 22.
He concedes “hostile actions are a possibility” but lists how many things can cause a rupture in an undersea pipeline: The most significant to him is the formation of “hydrate plugs” which under certain circumstances are formed from the natural gas/methane in the pipelines and preventing them requires constant work “requiring vigilance, expertise, diligence and constant water removal.” If they are not removed, the solid hydrates can cause cracks and fires. To clear these plugs in pipelines this size requires weeks of “Slow depressurization from both ends simultaneously.

In 2000, he notes, the Russians tried to remove a hydrate plug from a pipeline in Siberia using a butane torch and they ruptured the pipe and destroyed “several miles of very expensive pipeline.”
“Both Nord Stream pipelines were fully charged with natural gas and just sitting at the bottom of the sea — ‘Hundreds of millions of cubic meters of explosive “gaseous hydrocarbons being transported by Russians, and subject to Russian maintenance.”
This theory, while not definitive in the absence of evidence, is persuasive enough to me that the finger pointing at everyone else should take a long pause. It’s pure speculation, while the need for constant maintenance of undersea gas pipelines and Russian incompetence is not.”
You must be kidding, no serious person thinks Russia did this. Everyone knows it was the US. And there is forensic evidence of military flights and such backing this up.
And there are stories about Russia not going along with the WEC "Great Reset" plans. That surely upsets Biden's puppet masters. Maybe enough to cut off Russia's sources of income.
Absolutely...
Russia is not famous for pipeline maintenance or maintenance of any kind as we are seeing with the Russian Millitary.

See Post #6.

Zelensky said nothing after the pipelines were blown but called a meeting of the big boys who probably told Z....that that was the stupidest thing to do. All Russia has to do now is close ALL the valves to the lines running through Ukraine.
Russia owned 51% of that pipeline and have every right to demand to be included in the investigation.

First off, Nord Stream 2 is equally owned by Germany and Russia. Putin might have blown it up along with Nord Stream #1. Putin cannot be excluded from suspicion. Who blew them up? I have no special knowledge or speculation.
Yes. You are correct.
So is that now the excuse the neocons are going with after realizing the rest of the world now hates the US for blowing up that pipeline? LOL good luck with that.
Are you serious. Who is paying you?
