This is so lacking in vision. What, you’re going to have parking lots of chargers with people waiting hours instead of minutes at a gas station? It’s stupid is what it is.
Until we standardize on a quick change battery to meet the time it takes to fill a tank, this isn’t going to be practical.
Of course they don’t want it phased in, they want chaos and turmoil to grab more power.

I live in a condo. I could see putting chargers at every parking space. Plug in and charge on your own dime every time you park there. It's an option. I don't have to buy an electric car.
