Subsidized technology for individual purchase products is always a failure.
If it’s worth having - and really saves money - people will buy the product without a subsidy.
How about this, just put a huge tax on the EVs to pay for the charging stations. Did the government build refineries and gas stations, er, NO.
Follow the money. Who builds and sells charging stations? Who has the contracts for PR, legal and “Public Sector” of the charging Stations.
On everything, Check who runs the Public Sector office of any company.
