Of course The Vineyard attracts the elite from all over the country...or all over the east at least. But if you look at the rich suburbs of Boston the only dark faces you see are nannies and landscapers.Taking one suburb in particular you see this in spades (no pun intended).

Weston is,IIRC,the richest town in the state with any full time population. It's a smaller town and is a 25 minute drive from Boston in light traffic.For some time,and up until today,there's a huge controversy regarding what's called "The Weston Whopper" by the locals.It's a 200 unit "affordable housing" project that's been proposed by somebody (not sure who). Rest assured that the people of Weston are as outraged by it as were the residents (or property owners) of Martha's Vineyard when those 50 wetbacks arrived.
