Hewitt, who preempted discussions of the Iowa 2016 caucus by forcing people to listen toa guy talking about a Chrisatian Hunting Retreat, on the day of the caucus, when everyone wanted to hear about the Iowa Caucus. The guy who ran that retreat uas used by Never-Trumper Hewitt.

Not sure why Trump wastes his time giving interviews to people with TDS like Hugh Hewitt. I get this guy confused with the another guy who used to be on the same radio station I listened to (Salem Radio Network) who just seems like a nicer and less smarmy version of HH, Dennis Prager.

I watched the 2000 Mules movie and Dennis Prager was the sole skeptic about voter fraud. That’s when I realized he’s just as bad as Hugh Hewitt, but only slightly more tolerable to listen to.

His tone seems appropriate.

I don’t think he ever really gets too hot under the collar, too spun up, excessive, hyperbolic, overheated.

The successive outrages to which he has been treated would have been the personal, emotional, political ruin of every other I.S. American Republican other than Trump.

Yet, not only is he still standing, he is getting stronger by the week.

We really do owe Trump. Bigly.

In 2016 in L A, Hewitt was the only live political talk at the 300-600 PM time slot. NOw he is on at 300 AM so he can’t pull foolishness anymore. And yes DJT shuldnt talk to Hewitt

The only time I would listen to the Salem radio network is when the other conservative station on the AM dial wasn’t coming in clearly. I’d cringe at having to hear RINOs Michael Medved and Hugh Hewitt. The only show that was tolerable was for 1 hour a week, on Friday, on Dennis Prager’s show called the Happiness Hour.

We finally found a leader who has the balls to say what so badly needs to be said - and you say he needs tone it down… sad.

How can you get it so backwards? Refusing to shut up is exactly what makes him such a potent political leader.

If he took your advice there would be no MAGA movement and Trump would be a nobody like you and me.

They are sipping martinis at the country club,

You are wrong here, out of date. They're sipping single malt scotch.

You know.....
This is the problem with Trump, he says things that make him look like an a-hole. From a personality standpoint, I really don’t like when he does this. My perspective isn’t one of a personality contest, it’s what is best for my country, constitution, and my country persons. From that standpoint, Trumps policies have been far superior.

To put it another way, he is an a-hole sometimes....but he is our a-hole, and we need him because he fights.

Everyone's an a-hole sometimes.

Joe Biden is an a-hole ALL THE TIME.

He’s not threatening and he’s not bloviating. He’s absolutely right.

The left is trying to push buttons, and unless they back off, somebody somewhere is going to do something, which is exactly what the left wants.

I hated his unnecessarily personal attacks on his GOP rivals, which unfortunately I think led to some of the lack of support he had after winning, and I regretted the fact that he was pretty tame around the Dems...hoping they’d decide he was a Bush that they could push around and leave him alone.

The thing is that they didn’t even leave the weak, hapless Bush alone...the leftist mob was out there hanging Bush in effigy and the Dems were blocking any good thing he ever tried to do. And of course, as we have so conveniently forgotten, the Dems contested every Bush election.

I think it’s about time that Trump said something to show that he takes it seriously. This politicized legal harassment and use of our entire governmental apparatus, combined with the fascistic takeover and use of media and industry, has got to stop.

There isn’t one lawyer left out there that will defend him in court.

I believe that's false.

The thing about Trump is he never strikes first. He goes back at those dumb enough to insult him, he’s just so effective people forget what the other guy said.

How many years have we stood at the sidelines screaming at the top of our lungs “Hit back FGS” and now we have him, and people complain he hits too hard.

What you see is what you get, the alternative is someone like Bush who will send your kids off to die or be catastrophically wounded because he’s too dumb or corrupt or weak. I’ll take Trump and all his rough edges any day.
