Trump warns of ‘problems the likes of which we’ve never seen before’ if indicted

Former President Donald Trump said on Thursday that if he is indicted over storing classified documents at his Florida residence the United States would face “problems ... the likes of which perhaps we’ve never seen before.”

“If a thing like that happened, I would have no prohibition against running,” Trump told talk radio host Hugh Hewitt. “I think if it happened, I think you’d have problems in this country the likes of which perhaps we’ve never seen before. I don’t think the people of the United States would stand for it.”

Hewitt asked Trump to elaborate on what he was referring to by using the word “problems.”

“I think they’d have big problems. Big problems. I just don’t think they’d stand for it. They will not sit still and stand for this ultimate of hoaxes,” Trump said.

I remember Hugh Hewitt fretting over the Russia Russia Russia hoax and the “17 intelligence services’” warnings about Trump.

Yep. And it was Putin collision with the Dems to overthrow Trump. Biden is a nice present for Russia and China.

In my opinion, Joe Biden rebelled against our Constitution by voting for the Brady Bill, which violates Amendments II and IV.

As such a rebel, Joe Biden is ineligible to have become President as per Amendment XIV, Section 3.

If Biden wishes to see Trump declared to be the lawful President, he should tell Merrick Garland to indict Trump.

As the lawfully eligible & elected President, Trump has a perfect legal right to have classified documents at his Florida White House.

Once Trump is forced into a federal courthouse, Trump will have standing to contest Joe Biden’s eligibility to be President.

Trump needs to tone it down. The Democrats are seeking an excuse to create a Reichstag fire— by inciting his supporters to violence.

They are sipping martinis at the country club, while being too stupid to realize that today’s radical Democrats want it all. So when the radicals are done with Trump, they’ll be paying a visit to that country club.

We are peaceful patriots.

We will bemoan Biden’s tyranny, but give the federal courts every chance to make things legally correct.

"...former president continues to insist he had declassified all top secret documents taken by FBI from his Florida residence"

The declassification is NOT debatable!

The President IS the "National Command Authority" with final authority on the subject.

Embarrassing the Deep State is NOT a crime.

There is nothing more painful for me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start to think about robbery and then look around and see it’s somebody white and feel relieved.

They think the crocodile will eat them last.

I wish he’d knock off the crap like this. There isn’t one lawyer left out there that will defend him in court. The murdering RATS have got them all scared to death. A lawyer sees President Trump coming, they run and jump in a dumpster to hide.

“The President...may require the opinion, in writing, of the principal officer in each of the executive departments, upon any subject relating to the duties of their respective offices...”

Why was that put in the Constitution?

I suspect because somebody like George Washington didn’t want the old-fashioned equivalent of Monday morning quarterbacking.

Only by having documentary evidence that supported his action can a President be safe from unwanted & unjustified politically motivated attacks.

It is both necessary and proper that a former President be able to retain such documents. Politics is among the most vicious of occupations.

The 65 Project wasn't around back then, just waiting for the chance to file ethics complaints against any lawyer in any state that does any work for Legit President Trump. Because that's what's going on. The 65 Project is after any pro-Trump lawyer seeking to get them disbarred and that's what's stopping so many attorneys from working for him.

Well if he’s indicted and then the GOP take control we can assume the Big guy and company will all be indicted down the road as well. Let’s open Pandora’s box. It will a precedent to end all precedents but as usual the Democrats have zero awareness. Basically digging their own graves

I think he’s right. We already have a growing deep dissatisfaction by conservatives in this country against this criminal government figure-headed by that demented, decrepit, senile old fool fraud President we have.

Such an action would just formalize it. I don’t think it would come to arms, but it would certainly lead to a ‘gloves off’ attitude that isn’t deterred by wanting to not make waves or care what a stinking liberal (or YT, FB, IG, TW) thinks. IOW, much more ‘in-your-face’ confrontation out in normal America.

That’s not totally unusual for people as they rise up the
ladder. You can see that in families, locals, churches, etc.
etc. “I be de boss now”
