The Biden administration is moving one step closer to developing a central bank digital currency, known as the digital dollar, saying it would help reinforce the U.S. role as a leader in the world financial system.
The White House said on Friday that after President Joe Biden issued an executive order in March calling on a variety of agencies to look at ways to regulate digital assets, the agencies came up with nine reports, covering cryptocurrency impacts on financial markets, the environment, innovation and other elements of the economic system.

The current US$ is already digital. Every $$ is in reality just an entry on an electronic ledger. Every greenback $ is a paper representation of a digital blip
There are untold numbers of such electronic ledgers and there are systems within systems within systems for making instant or near instant transactions between the various ledgers.
Many Americans already live a cashless life. As a matter of fact, all their money exists on their own personal ledgers that exist on their smart phones.
So, no transition will ever be necessary.

No personal transactions with anyone. No garage sales. No freedom.
If the government can cut off all access to your money by flipping a switch, they can starve you and put you out in the cold to freeze to death.
Without available cash currency, you can’t even beg on a street corner.
If you suddenly could not access your “digital” dollars, who would you even call?
Even worse, they control the interest rate and value. They could with a flip of the switch consume ever penny we have in our personal accounts. They would call it the National Debt Reduction Act or something.

I believe the control part is more significant than anything else.
However, the federal government cannot access most of that financial data without a warrant. With a digital $ the federal government will have insight on every $ you spend or receive.
Sell an old camera lens on ebay and the IRS will get the data on the sale and will want documentation on capital gains or losses.
They can call them Biden Bucks, But how do you get them out of the basement?
Of course they, then they can literally track everything you do, buy, etc., everything. And even shut your account down if you don’t maintain your social credits score at ‘Good Citizen’ levels......

it ain’t the job of “the biden administration”, it IS the job of THE CONGRESS!!
(i actually 2/3 of those aged bazzturds cannot figure out anything electronnic, and will have to have their grandchildren explain it to them! can you see that? our electronic future in Congress depends on an explanation fromkids!!!)
Here in NJ the Dem government a few years back passed a law REQUIRING businesses to accept cash; you can’t be a “sanctuary state” and expect your illegals to use electronic payments. They work for untaxed cash, and spend it on untaxed/illegal apartments and such.
I was in New York State a few months back, and was shocked at how many things were cashless; given the number of illegals there (especially in the Hudson Valley), I’m not sure how they make it work.

In the world of when doing things legal matters, you are correct. As we inch towards a total takeover, doing something according to law is not longer necessary. Actually, since when did the commies ever play by rules anyway?
