An estimated 70,000 people protested in Prague against the Czech government on Saturday, calling on the ruling coalition to do more to control soaring energy prices and voicing opposition to the European Union and NATO.
Organizers of the demonstration from a number of far-right and fringe political groups including the Communist party, said the central European nation should be neutral militarily and ensure direct contracts with gas suppliers, including Russia.\
Police estimates put the number of protesters at around 70,000 by mid-afternoon.
The aim of our demonstration is to demand change, mainly in solving the issue of energy prices, especially electricity and gas, which will destroy our economy this autumn,” event co-organizer Jiri Havel told iDNES.cz news

They don’t hurt as much as being crushed by a russian tank

Stupid Liberal World order retard crap needs to be put down and the people behind it need to go down with it.
Liberal dreams should remain dreams.
They don’t age well in the real world.
Sounds like MCGArs. Make Czechoslovakia Great Again extremists .
Western governments have been able to convince their own peoples to do great harm to themselves starting with the Covid farce and continuing with this boondoggle.
The people in this country better wake up. The rats are taking us to where Europe is but it looks like we will barely get the House and might even lose a couple of Senate seats. That happens and we are done.
I don't think the Slovaks would be on board with that idea, LOL!
False dilemma...the choice Europe faces isn’t runaway inflation or Russian tanks, no matter how much you room temperature IQ war mongers wish it were.
Sure except putin’s propagandists already insinuated that once russia ‘liberates’ Ukraine, other nations in the former soviet sphere of influence are next. Why do you think they were all so desperate to join NATO? Their experience with russian ‘brotherly assistance’ gives them a much clearer picture of the situation than your arm-chair.
Hmmm... Very saddening...
There was a time when Americans were not afraid to protest against the government...
Unfortunately, protesting against the government in the Disunited States is limited to the sheeple raising their heads briefly, whimpering slightly, and then going back to blissfully grazing...
Take your ass to the Ukraine and fight then.
Seconded
Only a matter of time before Europe throws the towel in on Ukraine. The coming energy shortages in the middle of Winter along with high food prices willlead to more civil unrest.
In the meantime, we continue to keep the proxy war going by pumping in weapons and money by the billions, money we have to borrow.
Anyone remember the West German protests against Pershing missiles? Helped bring the Cold War to an end.
We now know from an inadvertent admission by Fiona Hill that Russia and Ukraine had negotiated a framework for ending the war in Ukraine back in April that had Russia withdrawing to its pre-Feb 24 positions in exchange for Ukraine's neutrality, and it took and emergency visit to Kiev by that oaf Boris Johnson (no doubt sent by the US) to kill the deal.
Your lies fool no one Lumpy.
Come around January, Putin should ask the Czech people to start a referendum to vote on a proposal to join the Russian Federation or not.
There is a running joke in Czechia...
“Czech military bombs Karlovy Vary in response to Putin aggression.”
Or our version would be...
“US military forces bomb Fresno in response to AMLO aggression.”
