After trailing in the polls, Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., is increasing his rhetoric toward his Democratic rival, Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes.
According to a Trafalgar poll, conducted from Aug. 22 to 25, if the election for a senator were held "today," 47.1% of respondents would vote for Johnson, compared to 49.4% who would vote for Barnes.
Speaking about his political opponent at the 53rd Chicken Burn event, Johnson said, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, that Barnes is "hiding from the press, he's hiding from Wisconsin."
"He wants to run basically a Joe Biden campaign. If he could get away with it, he'd hide in his basement," Johnson added.
So far, Barnes has received support from five organizations that call for defunding the police, a position that Barnes has denied having himself.

Trafalgar Is the most R friendly polling organization. This is not good. I find it incomprehensible with the country in a dumpster fire that we would lose this seat but we just might.
Rigged elections gone unaddressed have consequences.

When all levels of the media are demonizing anyone with an “R” after their name, all day every day, it’s not going to be easy to win elections.
Anyone who votes DemRat richly deserves the Rotgut results. So be it. That we have to share this once wonderful nation with these morons is a travesty in itself. The feckless GOPUKES don’t help matters either with their hapless messaging.
White woke and working class Democrats are ruining this country because they keep voting for the people who are destroying us all.

Maybe the GOPe needs to focus on crime, inflation and the unrelenting domestic communist advance, rather than foreign aid to the Ukraine.
Even Trafalgar can underestimate the people whose attitude is, “ F U”. If polling is calling.
Johnson is stomping all over the third rail of U.S. politics - Social Security and Medicare. He's opposed to controlling drug prices. His position on Dobbs is out of line with many people in Wisconsin. He's shooting himself in the foot.
The Media creates The Narrative, then "as if by magic" Johnson is "defeated", and the Media talking heads nod sagely, and point back at articles like this.

Tucker Carlson made the same point last night.
The Repukelican Milwaukee ring counties, which helped #PedoHitler over the top in Wisconsin, in addition all the other rigging going on there [old folks homes, Madison vote harvesting festivals, illegal mail ballots by ineligible voters, the Green Bay shenanigans].
This is the state the pollsters said would be an 18+% win for Biden. In actuality, they had to steal it for him. I don’t believe Johnson is in any trouble.
That’s it, just blame election fraud before the campaign even ramps up. That’s so much easier than trying to figure out how to attract voters under 40 who now favor the Democrats by huge margins.
