The online reviews site Yelp said Tuesday it is rolling out a new feature to protect users seeking abortions from being misled about anti-abortion pregnancy centers listed on its platform.
Such centers are typically religiously affiliated and deter clients from having an abortion. On Tuesday, Yelp said it will place a consumer notice on the listings informing users that the centers “typically provide limited medical services and may not have licensed medical professionals onsite.”
Yelp’s move might put more pressure on Google to do something similar with listings on its site.
Google did not immediately reply to a request for comment on Tuesday.
In the past several months, Yelp said it has also been picking up on efforts to better match users searching for abortion clinics with those services and make it less likely those users will see anti-abortion pregnancy centers in search results. The company said it has evaluated roughly 33,500 listings this year and recategorized nearly 470 pages for the centers.

YELP
Helping women kill their babies!!
really makes you want to join huh? glad I never did.
Anyone who relies on Yelp for actual factual information is a fool.
That’s a big lie, pregnancy centers often have retired nurses and doctors volunteer.
Do they have a flag that means: “They love you and your baby there, and they do not want your money.”?
To be consistent, abortuaries aren't about medical care. The "doctors" who perform them are often barely qualified, and are doing so because they were at the bottom of their class and didn't have many other opportunities in the medical profession.
Planned Barrenhood is really just a drug pimp, distributing pills and condoms to people, often minors. "Medical" procedures are a very meager part of their operation.
They could have just changed the listing category but they just had to get in the hostile insults too.
Yelp...
Aptly named when they object to killing the unborn with one.
Yelp!
Yelp, yelp, yelp...
Too many of the new internet services have been corrupted to
appeal to the worst in our society.
So, what is the chance these flags will attract more clients than they repel?
Yelp is BS. I tried to give feedback on a terrible experience at a 4 star restaurant and yelp had a ridiculous procedure to do so. Eff em.
Who would post a yelp review of an abortion?
Their opening gambit is always slander. Everything is a ploy. they are ployers.
