The big picture in all of this tough transition of Europe's natural gas supply, is that Russia is a huge loser, and America is a big winner. The hardest transition will be this Winter, less so next Winter, and then it is done - likely for a decade or more.

The Freeport LNG (Liquified Natural Gas) export terminal is scheduled to re-open in October (20% of US export capacity), starting small and ramping up capacity.

Since this article was published, German gas storage has increased to almost 80%, which is their minimum target for the Winter. They have been injecting about 1/2 of a percent (0.5%) of their capacity per day. Europe overall is in

Wait until this Winter, biggest home heating crisis on record. It’s not the lack of preparation or Biden’s anti-energy policies, it’s....climate change.

America has won nothing and will continue to lose as long as we have unelected criminals colluding with WEF criminals.

“America has won nothing “

Comrade dforest, how’s the weather in Moscow?

NATO is expanding. NATO defense spending going through the roof.

US LNG exports are booming.

Cheer up comrade!

Henry Hub is at 9.20 per mmBtu.

That's roughly 90 cents a therm for the US consumer - nearly triple the cost a year ago.

How is that winning?

I suppose if you're Joe Biteme, Kammy the Airhead or Humpher Biden, it's all peachy, because the US taxpeasants are splashing out to cover THEIR bills...

Yes, this has been great for pipeline companies which are yielding 7-8%, midstreams, and mineral rights payments on gas wells are up 400% from 2 years ago.

Ride the wave, winter is coming.

It's the view from the Beltway.

When their natgas bills go up, they just vote themselves a raise.

“NATO is expanding. NATO defense spending going through the roof.”

Naa, we’re busy scrapping carriers, like the Enterprise. But we are spending more, to put women’s bathrooms in subs and on ‘woke’ training.

Stupid post as usual from a nonsensical person.

He always comes back with the childish "you must be a Russian agent!" response.

I'm convinced speedy is 14 year old high schooler trolling from his mom's basement. Or he's a paid DHS government employee. Not much difference, really.

BeauBo Please tell us about how great it is that totalitarian Big Tech in America is censoring any news that does not tie the party line. We are not being allowed to hear or say the truth online except in forums like FR and the a lot of d-bag Freepers on FR that are perfectly happy with it. Are you?

The big picture in all of this tough transition of Europe's natural gas supply, is that Russia is a huge loser,

With super high natural gas prices and Russia being the biggest exporter of natural gas, with winter fast approaching? And the huge China/India natural gas/oil markets eager for Russoan oil/natural gas?

the biggest casualty in this conflict?

Russia’s reputations (yes, plural)

NOTE THAT - before Feb. 23rd, 2022 -

- Russia was thought of as a country interested in peace; so much so, that there was even talk of disbanding NATO, since it wouldn’t be needed anymore!

- Russia was thought of as a civilized country, well-behaved and respectful of its neighbors like any other in Europe

- Russia was thought of as a reliable supplier of gas; so much so that Germany could get rid of all its nuclear and coal-fired power plants!

- the Russian military was thought of as large, well-organized, and efficient - something to be feared

NOBODY believes these lies anymore ... thinking that had been well-embedded for years has been upended in less than 6 months ...

brilliant move, Russia!!

I remember this site for “Peak Oil”. Politics is the source of our shortages worldwide. Buyden sold us out by closing pipe lines, reneging on drilling permits, states like Comirado shutting down crude industry. If Canada released the Russian compressor production would be way up. Our lives are almost totally controlled.

I don’t share his hate for the Russian people. I also don’t hate Ukrainian people. I am sad they are being used in a proxy war by the west.
