As to donuts, just because cops leaned with their arms folded against the cinder block store wall and watched Antifa thugs hold and brutalize white haired people who had Trump signs and "stood down" when mobs attacked citizens as CHOP zones were being set up in cities, and let flash mobs rush in to steal predetermined high end jewelry and electronics and get into getaway SUVS and escape with no arrests, is no reason for us to ridicule them for eating donuts.
