Tim Scott: Raid ‘Overreach at Best’ — ‘This Has Been a Witch Hunt for Six Years’

Friday, during an appearance on FNC’s “Hannity,” Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) warned the FBI raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home was, at minimum, “overreach,” and something he said was “devastating.”

Scott insisted the right path forward was winning in November to impanel an investigation.

What’s this about? “Scott is running for re-election to the U.S. Senate to represent South Carolina. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 8, 2022. THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARY FOR THIS OFFICE ON JUNE 14, 2022, WAS CANCELED.” (emphasis mine) Was he running un-opposed?

Just what we need... another weak-kneed wimp in the Senate with an R after his name. I about hit the ceiling when he said we need to “let it play out”. UGH.
