God-given human rights and so-called “women’s rights” in today’s meaning are distinct from each other and not the same thing.
Actually today’s “women’s rights” deny human rights by such things as promoting the killing of babies.
That’s may be true, FR friend. They’re trying to rectify that.
I think she is being sarcastic. If baby killers (including a lot of so-called men) say it’s their right to kill then it’s alright for women to have the right to defend themselves, since they are frailer and need some advantages. Killings are not going away. Since the beginning of time, the defenseless suffer the most.
That’s the take I got. :-)
Men as a gender don’t embrace a false doctrine like women do with their “Women’s Movement” that justifies killing babies.
Women tend to be just like what Melvin Udall said - they tend to be irrational and unaccountable.
Almost every time infanticide is brought up as part of “women’s rights” the woman either discounts it as something needing to be “rectified” but never is nor can be, and/or she brings up the man as the culprit as some kind of justification for their rebellion (against God and man). A woman’s vulnerability does not extend to justifying today’s abject rebellion and mass murder.
Irrational and unaccountable.
Mass murder is part of the fruit that reveal s the real source of “women’s rights” and the “women’s movement” - the serpent of old AKA Satan who is able to deceive a rebellious woman.
That is why the Bible says women need to be subject to the man. Eve, like the women of today, was and is deceived by the serpent, whereas Adam, like today’s men, was and is not deceived but goes along with Eve’s program anyway.
No, the “women’s movement” and “women’s rights” are just a warmed over version of Eve’s rebellion and alignment with Satan from the beginning.
God loves women (and so do I) but their rebellion is to be condemned.

Eve is a deceivable creature, subject to Satan’s deceptions. Therefore, she must be subject to the man AS UNTO THE LORD, not outside the Lord.
It is a heart matter. A woman must have a heart that submits to the man IN THE LORD.
To be free, a woman must have the Lord who will set her free even as she is subject to the man in the Lord.
The only answer for men and women is Jesus who holds all things together and gives eternal life to those who come to Him.
Remember, you as a woman are EQUAL IN VALUE to the man. However you are NOT EQUAL IN ROLE TO THE MAN. Regardless, your intrinsic value to God is what makes you special, not your performance. Your intrinsic value to God because of the cross of Christ where he died for man and women equally, is what the Gospel of the Grace of Christ is all about.

Ay, por favor, senor-otra vez? I have replied more than once to your insistence that women think their rights mean it is okay to abort/kill babies-so have several other women-and we’ve all told you the same thing-abortion is murder and it is not ANYONE’s “right”-it is a criminal act in my state and some others now, thanks be to God...
I was going to comment on this thread-and that the constitution does not mention sex/gender when it comes to rights-guns or anything else, but then I saw the endorsement for what amounts to slavery of women-no thanks-the constitution and bill of rights are not religious tracts-they are documents that spell out Natural Law and God given rights of humans-not by sex/gender.
I think most of us know that the Jewish faith considered women to be below men in rights during Biblical times and for awhile after-and Muslims still do-but I’m pretty sure those are edicts made by humans, not by God-who is the Supreme Being and I believe He created us all equal, and so we are in His eyes.
The only religious groups I’m aware of who still practice the subjugation of women are orthodox Muslims and cult-like breakaway Christian sects like FLDS, Children of God, etc-most of them practice polygamy, too...
I do believe subjugation or another human, whether man or woman is a sin. It is also just plain mean and hateful, especially in a supposedly loving relationship-any man or woman who put their rights above those of their spouse are unsure of their own ego and identity-they also are guilty of spousal abuse-sometimes leading to murder-far more often than emotionally healthy spouses who love and respect their partner as an equal.

Nope-sorry, but that is not my belief-women-Eve or whomever are no more easily deceived than men are. A person being subject to deception by others is a matter of conscience-or the lack of one, being mentally disabled, or simply being naive-to imply any of that is insulting to all women. You believe and worship as you wish, and I will do the same, FRiend...
The dislike I have for so many of my sex has to do with their propensity to fake helplessness, etc to get into a co-dependent relationship with a man to control his finances, etc-nothing to do with Eve, Satan or any of that-just the desire for control-there are men like that, too-women are just easier to spot.
I manage my best friend’s small business with honesty and the best customer service-he has never set himself above me, other than to sign my check. MrT5 never felt the need to subjugate me, either-we were equal partners who loved and protected one another and were happy-I do not know anyone who treats women the way you say you do-maybe where you are from there are, but not in this rural area...
My parents told me I have the right to have firearms when I was taught to use a gun-about age 8-9. I have owned guns ever since-and it is a woman’s right as well as a man’s...
