I don’t agree with Biden on Ukraine. I would like to see the amount of aid that Nixon delivered to Israel in 32 days. What did Biden get delivered during the first 32 days of this war? But why? I was a Cold Warrior and even spent time in the USSR. Russia is not the USSR. What the West has done with respect to Ukraine since 1999 (long after the disappearance of the USSR) is mostly responsible for this mess. Personally, I’m rooting for a negotiated settlement ASAP. People here seem not to know that apart from the obvious destruction in Ukraine, the boomerang effect from the imbecilic Biden sanctions policy is destroying Europe economically. If there isn’t a radical change in European policy toward Russia, there will be riots in the fall and winter that the corrupt EU governments won’t be able to control. When heat, light, and food are in short supply, people will act. All the “wonderful diverse” immigrants will be in the forefront.

I believed him--I was familiar with historical references, Arnold Toynbee, William Faulkner, the rise and fall of civilizations--but I couldn't imagine how it could come about or that it would happen in my lifetime, or even in the lifetime of my grandchildren.
Sadly, today I understand exactly how it will come about, and I see it happening in my lifetime.

Now, in contrast, almost every college spews feminist propaganda about so-called toxic masculinity, while society at large disenfranchises fathers from their own families, and movies and television shows portray straight men as impossibly inept fools, or callous deserters, or violent villains.
