CHICAGO -- Chicago weekend shootings have left at least 61 shot, 10 fatally, police said.
Many of the shooting victims were wounded on the South and West sides.
Last weekend, 31 people were shot, six fatally.

Over here in Battle Creek, MI the big news of the last day in the world famous cereal city, the big company Kellogg is going to split into divisions and move the world HQ to Chicago.
Local news hasn’t mentioned if they are taking any employees with them...if they are they’d better ammo up before they go as it is going to be a rough adjustment.
There seems to be over 5,000 murders and felonious assaults in Chicago per year. How many of these felons have been arrested, tried , convicted and imprisoned? Why would the cops risk their own lives doing thorough investigations and the necessary community policing when they know that it is not only not appreciated but the prosecutors refuse to prosecute and the judges refuse to sentence? Urban America is unlivable.
Let me pause my morning coffee while I bow my head in grief..there done.
