Russia is dead; here’s why:

Their birth rate....crashed after 1985
Their leadership back bench..,,zilch
Male life expectancy is closer to 59 than 70
Invasion isn’t about Ukraine,....it’s also about Romania/Moldova.
Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania. They need to secure the invasion routes to their heartland, and they don’t have the army to do it. Who ever rises out of Europes collapse will sack Moscow.

Totally breaks my heart

Western corporations pump(ed) their oil, Siberia takes know how.

America and Mexico raised families. The unipolar world is going more unipolar. Not even nukes, or the dnc, will stop it.

That’s the point, though, right? Get that $ and arms to the Ukraine, those in charge pocket the cash, sell the arms and congress members get their kickback. Does anyone think this is an actual war for Ukie sovereignity?

They admire Putin for acting like a man, and admire what they see from the Russian church.

I had no problem with Putin until he crossed the line, so to speak, by crossing the border and invading Ukraine. Until then, I hoped and believed that he might be one of the good guys.

But from there on, he is no different to me than Stalin or Hitler was, or any other authoritarian dictator tyrant type is who acquires power and then uses it to have his way with the neighbors and take their stuff.

To me, all who do that are guilty unless God told them to … and how would I know that, right? At my rank and pay grade, all I am supposed do is pray for everybody, leaders especially, whether I like ‘em or not.

Personally, I think President Trump would have helped Ukraine clean up its corruption problems and they and we all would be better for it, too.

And I believe this truth is part of the reason why Trump had to go, but none of that excuses Putin for invading Ukraine.

From the things I’ve read, I was thinking Russia is on divine probation and is not supposed to do this sort of thing to the neighbors anymore, but this in Ukraine isn’t his first time and it probably won’t be the last time until his last breath.

Does it look like Russia needs Europe for long term economic development? Green = supporting Western effort to crush Russia ( the “ golden billion: 12% of world population) Gray = rest of the world, not only not supporting sanctions but increasingly influenced by need to break free of Western-centric institutions and policy domination that rewards or punishes their own sovereign interests….as is bring watched happen in Russia

I thought the 40,000 most important ones had already been shipped off to enjoy living in Russia while the bad ones were left behind to suffer in Ukraine.

All our support has done is prolong the inevitable and killed many more Ukrainians...and made the defense industry 100 billion dollars.

Wrong question. How many men of military age will they have in 20 years? How many can read?

Well, it's an undeniable fact of history that many Lithuanians supported the Nazis. They served in the SS a lot them. As killers in the mobile death squads and as guards in the camps. But that was then.

It is certainly useful for our weapons to be used so Russian tyrants will have fewer to use on us in the future. However, please note that one of the Pooty Pal ploys is to emphasize how we are wasting all this money on weapons for Ukraine. The $billions allocated by the US Congress are being spent on other needed things. I remember seeing a list. Below are some, there were others.

1) Support to other European countries for taking in several million refugee women and children—housing, school, food, medicine, etc.

2) Replacing weapons that European countries have give to Ukraine for them to continue their NATO military obligations.

3) Supporting the Ukraine monthly government payroll to support all the national requirements for administering a country of 40,000,000 people.

4) Providing other direct non-military aid to Ukraine refugees including some coming to the US.

Has anyone noticed that Kazakhstan is about as big as India, and 4 times the size of Ukraine. I believe they have oil, and recently Putin has been making similar aggressive noises at them as the noises at Lituania and the Baltics.

“Western corporations pump(ed) their oil, Siberia takes know how.”

US oil companies have pulled out of Russia. How long will it be before breakdowns, lack of skill, neglect of maintenance, and arctic conditions significantly interfere with Putin’s perfect production profits?
