“Why it matters:”
Only stupid liberal rags that use that idiotic phrase. If you need to be told that, you are too stupid to be reading the news in the first place. You are probably so stupid that you need to be told:
* “Oxygen in the atmosphere: Why it matters”
* “Drinking water: Why it matters”
* “Living in a house instead of in the snow: Why it matters.”
* “Being nice to your Mom and Dad: Why it matters.”
It gay pride month and McDonalds has gay rainbow fries. I deleted my app and wrote - never buy from them again. BK in Europe with the Man-Buns, screw them too over here as well. I can buy buns and make four burgers for the price of just one, at home and my way not the homo way.
I just spent 2k getting my Honda repaired so I can continue to drive it another 100k at least. After all these years the suspension was worse than shot, so now it drives great again and saved me spending 30k+ on a new car. plus, my Honda gets about 35-38mpg. Pretty good for an old car.
>>>The return of “UNEXPECTEDLY” was unexpected. Will be seeing more of this word.
Notice too the absence of “EXPERTS SAY”?
Unexpected? Consumer confidence is at a record low.
I am driving 44 year old Buick -—
AND 47 year old 1 ton Chevy 4 speed dually truck.
569,000 +++ total miles
Really?
Now for the recession.

Lack of supply, inflation on purchase price and increase cost of borrowing who is surprised that big ticket items that most people finance saw weaker demand?!
The greedy bastards will be eating those cars before too long.
I plan to refurbish mine, too. Best car I’ve ever owned.
Probably more that 30% if you figure in the increase in cost of every item.
Used to buy hamburger for $2 an lb. Now $5 ore more.
of course vehicle sales plummeted!
People who couldn’t usually save up the downpayment for a car were able to buy one because the covid stimulus gave them enough for a downpayment.
But you don’t by a new car every year. Once you have one, your good for many many years.
My first new car. 1970 Ford Maverick. Grabber package, 302. Cost $2,300.
Lotta kids these days drive stick.
I actually know more people 20-35 that can and do drive stick then don’t.
May just be biased though. I used to be a mechanic.
Go into the dealer and order a car.
There are hardly any new cars on the lots in my little city.
I don’t see how they can keep the car factories going.
You either put your money in your gas tank or spend it on consumer goods.
Yea...right...unexpectedly. Good grief!
