This criminal needs to spend the morning rush in the stocks right on the subway platform, his mid-day digging subway tunnel extensions with a pick and a shovel, the evening rush back in the stocks, and his nights in a pit in the prison yard.

This is becoming a very common occurance in NYC. About every 2-4 days a vicious assault or murder in the subway.

When I rode the NYC subways (especially during the reign of “General” David Dinkins), I knew to stay as FAR AWAY from the tracks as possible, especially when the train was approaching.

The poor lady didn’t have much room to navigate on that El platform, but you’ve GOT to be situationally aware.
