It sends an unmistakable message: We can get you anytime, anywhere, on any grounds we choose. You can’t touch even a single one of ours.
If by some strange occurrence one of ours is brought before a court, the judge and jury will be rigged against you. “I dare you to ask me to recuse with an acquaintance on the stand,” the judge will say. “What’s a lie to our FBI among friends,” the jury will say. Especially when the lie is a useful one.

We haven’t had a “Justice System” in over 50 years.
We have a badly broken Legal System”.
When the Federal Government shows up at your door, it is best not to pretend they will go away.
Come on. A GOP house/Senate in ‘23 will deal with it? Perhaps both houses and the WH in ‘25? As Chuchie says they’ve got a thousand ways. I’ll say it again. Top off government retirement checks at $50k/yr. Totally indirect but effective. Will they quit? No. Just make all government employees pay the price through the elimination of departments. Tell them they’ve been naughty. The public will get behind the populist retirement benefit restrictions.
The withdrawal of a State from a league has no revolutionary or insurrectionary characteristic. The government of the State remains unchanged as to all internal affairs. It is only its external or confederate relations that are altered. To term this action of a Sovereign a 'rebellion' is a gross abuse of language.

THIS is old grey hippies in the upper echelons of government agencies who are trying to finally "change" America before they croak.
I don't know if you're old enough to remember, but when the draft was abolished after Vietnam, the "activists" declared they were going to "change the government from within" instead of rioting in the streets. Then they got jobs in the federal government, started investing in stocks and went disco dancing.
It's the same annoying, entitled bunch, on their last "crusade" and aided and abetted by their fellow grey-haired "activists" in the media.
The new statue of Lady Justice shows her as a drunken whore winking at democrats as they stuff dollar bills in her g string...
