Though she got high marks as a pro-life advocate, political newcomer Kathy Barnette has seen her support dwindle as conservatives scrutinize her record.
Questions surrounding Barnette's credibility for Pennsylvania GOP Senate nomination, with the primary election set for next Tuesday, have risen sharply after she seemed to be leapfrogging in polls.
Barnette's comments in recent years have included claiming unrest in the "Black community" was due to "white racism."
(snip)
Surprisingly, Barnette also has criticized the nation’s first president, saying she "heard white people talking about the high and mightiness of George Washington, a former slave owner."

Barnette, who resides in the Philadelphia suburb of Huntingdon Valley, ran for Congress in 2020 and lost to Democrat Madeleine Dean for Pennsylvania’s 4th Congressional District by 19 percentage points.

That was followed by a discussion with three PA undecided voters.
Nobody is better at destroying conservatives than the GOP. Every dirty trick in the book comes out. Then they are put away to make sure that no democrats are ever hurt by them.
Haha ah good old newsmax.
Sorry but there is no evidence that Barnette supported has “faded” yellow journalism at its best...
Write it as though its true and it will become truth...
No polls exist showing she has lost support.. lord knows the powers that be are trying their best to beat her down and keep the riff raff on the plantation and on script..
She still hasn’t addressed the DD214 issue. Also, I’m having a problem as to why she only had a Rank of E-4.
It is sad. On the other hand, if this stuff does not come out now the Dems will just unleash it in November.
Better now than then.
We will see what Rich Baris says at 12:05 today about polling.
The DD214 issue is so easily resolved. Even if she lost hers, a replacement can be easily obtained.
Keep in mind that this a highly competitive race, and there will be many more bushels of scorn heaped upon those who appear to have some edge in the race. The only effect of this is to make the eventual winner subject to an attack by the Democrat candidate, using the same charges that are being applied now by the rivals within the Republican side.
Whether there is any substance to them or not.
Barnette, who resides in the Philadelphia suburb of Huntingdon Valley, ran for Congress in 2020 and lost to Democrat Madeleine Dean for Pennsylvania’s 4th Congressional District by 19 percentage points.
The same Democrat gerrymandered district President Trump lost by 23 points? The one other Republicans lost by even more? If Barnette can do four points better than The Great MAGA King she should win easily in the general.
Trump had to put her down.
Here’s Trump’s guy. Oz loves Jussie Smollett very much - https://twitter.com/JackPosobiec/status/1524958262239666184
Your absolutely correct!
Trump wants his Mar-a-Lago neighbor and friend to win. They will do anything to try and destroy her. As far as I can see she is still surging here in PA.
Yeah.
It’s sad, but better now than in the general when the Dems crush her.
As I said, FOX had a screen shot of one of her old tweets on Islam/Muslims at around 10:30am today during their broadcast.
That stuff would be on a loop between now and November, by the Dems.
Yes. This is called vetting and it is good that it occurs.
I could not vote for Oz with his child sexual mutilation stance.
*George Washington, a former slave owner.”* All of which is true none of which is relevant.
*She still hasn’t addressed the DD214 issue.*
Non-Pennsylvamian here. I am embarrassed and ashamed of the candidates and the voters especially.
Newsmax...LOL.
still here newbie?
you’re not fooling anybody except the FR gope choir.
The tweet she had on her old account regarding Islam and pedophilia, I think it was, I believe she deleted. To me, that signifies that there’s a problem there and she knows it.
Of course, that tweet has been screenshotted by now.
Here’s what I’m referring to (cached version):
