Brett Kavanaugh is not in danger — unlike the abortion precedent he's ready to overturn

America was supposedly founded on the principle that power must be accountable if it is not to be tyrannical. Yet, the recent debate over abortion rights has illustrated once again that too many Americans in positions of power would prefer a populace that acquiesced silently to even monstrous abuses.

Over the weekend, protesters organized a vigil outside Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s house in Chevy Chase, Maryland, to protest the threatened repeal of Roe v. Wade.

Letter from the School Boards Association calling parents domestic terrorists

September 29, 2021 The Honorable Joseph R. Biden President of the United States The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20500 Re: Federal Assistance to Stop Threats and Acts of Violence Against Public Schoolchildren, Public School Board Members, and Other Public School District Officials and Educators Dear Mr. President: America's public schools and its education leaders are under an immediate threat. The National School Boards Association (NSBA) respectfully asks for federal law enforcement and other assistance to deal with the growing number of threats of violence and acts of intimidation occurring across the nation. Local school board members want to hear from their communities on important issues and that must be at the forefront of good school board governance and promotion of free speech. However, there also must be safeguards in place to protect public schools and dedicated education leaders as they do their jobs. NBA believes immediate assistance is required to protect our students, school board members, and educators who are susceptible to acts of violence affecting interstate commerce because of threats to their districts, families, and personal safety. As our school boards continue coronavirus recovery operations within their respective districts, they are also persevering against other challenges that could impede this progress in a number of communities. Coupled with attacks against school board members and educators for approving policies for masks to protect the health and safety of students and school employees, many public school officials are also facing physical threats because of propaganda purporting the false inclusion of critical race theory within classroom instruction and curricula. This propaganda continues despite the fact that critical race theory is not taught in public schools and remains a complex law school and graduate school subject well beyond the scope of a K-12 class. On behalf of our state associations and the more than 90,000 school board members who govern our country's 14,000 local public school districts educating more than 50 million schoolchildren, NSA appreciates your leadership to end the proliferation of COVID-19 in our communities and our school districts. We also appreciate recent discussions with White House and U.S. Department of Education staff on many critical issues facing public schools, including threats school officials are receiving.

Isn’t the governor of Maryland wanting to run for President ? Why hasn’t he sent law enforcement to arrest the law breakers?

I wonder if a violent protester kills him they’ll admit they are wrong.

Nevermind.

" lawmakers could extend state-sanctioned power and violence not just into homes but also into uteruses."

"Violence into uteruses". This moronic author doesn't have the self awareness to understand what he just wrote. What could possibly be more violent than abortion?

You might be on to their plan. Get a protester to kill Kavanaugh and take the fall. One SC opening occurs and Biden nominates a Chairman Mao type.

No, they’d celebrate Biden’s getting to name a successor.

You could say the same thing about Congress, yet they put up a wall after Jan. 6th.

If Ruth had resigned while Obama was in office the left wouldn’t be bothered.

Democrats are assuming that the SCOTUS members who want to ‘undo’ Roe v Wade are the republicans on the court. But, how could they know for sure? Isn’t it possible that one of the liberal members might have signed on to the expected retraction. Someone like Sotomayor, for example, who for certain is a Puerto Rican Christian and who’s family members might be all against abortions?

Why don’t the protesters go to the homes of those liberal members, just in case any of those liberal judges joined with the majority?

Also, why aren’t there protesters from the right going to the homes of the liberal SCOTUS members, since, they would be in approval of killing babies in the womb? Let’s turn things around on the left-wing mobs and show them that the left is more in the wrong than those on the right.

“Vigil”? Is that our new “Mostly Peaceful Protest” word?

These people need to start putting mattresses on their walls.

he doesn’t need to. Breyer can just change his mind about retiring, and we have nine.

Oh, I see. NOW precedent matters to these ghouls.

Take your precedent and shove it, pro-aborts.

“ Why hasn’t he sent law enforcement to arrest the law breakers?”

After the Virginia governor said the State Troopers were available, Gov. Hogan said the same thing, although he knows that they won’t do anything.

The real one to get angry at is US AG Garland, who is intentionally refusing to enforce the law about intimidating justices. That’s an impeachable inaction.

How can he say that with a straight face and call parents domestic terrorists for protesting at a school board meeting?
