"Veruca Salt" zElensky's GTSOU, which operates Ukraine's gas system, suspended flows through the Sokhranovka transit point Wednesday, which it said delivered almost a third of fuel piped from Russia to Europe via Ukraine.

Sources say that Germany lost 25% of its normal Erdgas flow.

Too bad the Germans can't disguise Russian natgas the way they're disguising the tankers full of heavy Urals crude...

It’s not cheating if you don’t get caught.

“Sources say that Germany lost 25% of its normal Erdgas flow.”

Sounds like Germany won’t be filling its storage tanks this summer.

Oh well, maybe Global Warming will keep them from having to choose between leaving their homes for shelters, or freezing to death in their homes.

But as long as they are sticking it to Putin, no doubt they’re fine with that future.

These mechanisms don’t work. So they can’t buy Rubles without breaking the law. Then they just buy Yuan and the broker buys Rubles and so on. Costs just a tiny bit more for transaction fees. Obviously they need the commodity or there wouldn’t even be a conversation about how they will buy it.

With Russia demanding ruble payments for its natural gas supplies, German utility giant Uniper plans to continue paying in euros for its upcoming bill at the end of May, and it won't be a breach of sanctions, the company announced Wednesday.
The Finnish energy utility Fortum Oyj is - via its indirect holding company Fortum Deutschland SE, Düsseldorf - the main shareholder of Uniper.

Those pipelines have been on Ukrainian territory for 30 years, a subject of inestimable lost revenue for the Kremlin's preferred monay launderers.

Two and a half months into the Red Army's expedition, it doesn't look like the Kremlin is going to get control back.

Even buying German politicians off hasn't worked.
