Republican Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, one of just two nominally pro-choice Republicans left in the Senate, called the cops on Saturday night over a pro-abortion rights message written in chalk in front of her house in Bangor.

According to Bangor Daily News, officers responded to a call at 9:20 pm on Saturday after the message "Susie, please, Mainers want WHPA —–> vote yes, clean up your mess" appeared on a public sidewalk on West Broadway street.

Yeah that’s important.

Not

Depending on the property it’s in front of, sidewalks are Private property. That’s why the homeowner pays to fix them.

It turns out the same phenomenon - the art, not the criticism - is going on in Bangor. My coworker, Julia Bayly, shared a few images of the sidewalk art she’s seen downtown ...

I’m no fan of Susan Collins, but the media propaganda machine here is firing on all cylinders now. The upshot of this snotty piece is “Boo hoo, Susan Collins is miffed about chalk graffiti on her sidewalk. Well, that’s nothing compared to birthing people losing the right to choose!” blah blah blah. Bottom line: she’s right. Is blasting Susan Collins with chalk-written messages on the sidewalk on her street defacement of public property? Well, yes, it is. Someone will have to clean up, hose off this mess, etc.

Susan, lock them up, like the Jan. 6th protesters. They don’t have a right to do this.

I’ve seen “BLM” stuff on roadways and the city is a-okay with it. The leftist outrage is always on display. They wake up to “What am I going to be offended about today”.

Thats interesting, where I live in SoCal, the city owns the first 8 feet of your yard adjacent to the street, which includes the sidewalk.

“..sidewalks are Private property..”

I don’t think so.

Public sidewalks paralleling the road/street are public. You are just responsible for them and the grass between them and the street. It’s your social civic duty, comrade....

We should have been fighting them with everything we’ve got. Instead our elected reps sit around and grumble and whine and never get a damn thing done.

Collins HAS to be replaced!
What an embarrassment she is to Maine, and to the Senate as a whole
