Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi claim to be practicing Catholics, yet they and their fellow leftists have worked unrelentingly to drive God out of America's schools, government and public square. When Pelosi stands at the speaker's rostrum, a sign above her reads, "In God We Trust." With Biden as president, Pelosi as speaker and Democrats in control of Congress, that sign should read, "In Government We Trust."
The actions of the left would be easier to take if their consequences were limited to the left, but this is not the case. All Americans suffer as a result of their perfidy. Actions have consequences. The actions of the secular left in pushing God out of the culture have resulted in tragic consequences. The cultural degradation wrought by the left includes rampant abortion, gun violence, mass shootings, human trafficking, child abuse, mob violence, pornography, censorship, drug and alcohol abuse, corruption, road rage, gutter politics, teen suicide, sideline rage, demise of the traditional family, and the list goes on.
These tragic consequences have a lot of Americans wondering, "What is happening to our country?" The tragedies you see on the nightly news and read about in your morning newspaper are what happens in a country that rejects God. What you see all around you every day is what a Godless culture looks like.
For those concerned about the cultural darkness enveloping our country, we have two questions, one for those who reject God and one for Christians. Our question for atheists is: What did you think would happen when you drove God out of the culture? Our question for Christians is: What are we going to do about it?
Those who work ceaselessly to drive God out of society and then decry the predictable results are like the kid who pokes a wasp nest with a stick just for fun. They are fools. The cultural degradation darkening society did not happen by accident. It is the result of a concerted, decades long effort led by hypocrites such as Biden, Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.
It would be easy to place all the blame for the state of the culture on current government leaders and their leftist puppet masters, but that would not be accurate. While the left must accept much of the blame for the sad state of the culture, Christians must accept at least some of the blame. Why? Because rather than stand up and fight back against those who are determined to make America a Godless nation, too many Christians and too many churches have meekly stood by and let it happen in the name of being "seeker-friendly."
Too many churches have become Sunday morning entertainment centers rather than preparing members to carry out the Great Commission. Too few are expecting their congregations to be good stewards of the blessings bestowed on them, including living in the only nation on Earth founded on Christian values and biblical principles. Allowing the left to drive God out of our schools, government and public square is not good stewardship.
For this reason, in our new book we go beyond just asking Christians, "What are we going to do about it?" We also provide a blueprint for reclaiming the culture for Christ. That blueprint requires Christians to engage on six fronts: family, church, education, courts, politics and the public square. In future columns, we will explain what Christians must do on each of these fronts before it's too late.

Leftist politicians have two lives: a pretend one in front of the camera lens in which they are devout Christians, and another one in private in which they are reprobates in opposition to everything God represents. Their public life is for fooling the masses and gathering votes. Didn’t Jesus say that false prophets would increase in the latter days? We have been warned, and now it is up to us to recognize them.

There has been a slow, but steady effort to drive God out of the country that so thoroughly depended on His Divine Providence to come into being.
America has become the embodiment of the prodigal son.
I’m not Catholic, but this applies across the board...where are the passionate ‘colonial-era style era’ preachers...the modern ones (with few exceptions) are weak sauce, at best. :-(
God is being thrown out of the USA and the world.
However, this is still His sphere to rule and He has already started a massive culling of the herd.
We’re closing in on the last 7 years of this age.
God will rule and there is nothing any of the little satanists can do about it.

Deep inside every living person knows that God does in fact rule the universe. There are believers and there are fools hence the term atheist is just another way of describing a fool.

Communism depends on the atomization of society. Nothing must stand between the state and the individual. The family unit must be destroyed. The individual must owe his or her only allegiance to the all-powerful state and the party which controls it.
But, perhaps, most of all, Communists must destroy religion. The idea that individuals might place their fate in anything other than the all-powerful, omnipresent government is anathema. It cannot be tolerated. You must stand powerless and alone in the face of your oppressor who owns you body and soul.
The Soviets set the example in this regard. As part of their effort to consolidate power in the new Soviet Union, they destroyed churches, synagogues, and mosques. They jailed and executed religious leaders. In place of belief in a creator, they did their best to substitute scientific atheism, which amounted to worship of the state and its leaders.
The price we pay for rejecting God?
The minor prophets in the Old Testament read like contemporary headlines. We are now living in God’s judgment. Unless we repent as a nation, it does not end well at all.
My father was an old time family doctor who delivered scores of babies. The very idea of abortion was unthinkable to him. Dad often told me that God will surely punish this country for embracing abortion and when I see how this once great nation is being destroyed, I believe Dad was very right.
There are very real consequences
