If you just followed news reports on Ukraine, you might think that the war has settled into a long, grinding and somewhat boring slog. You would be wrong.
Things are actually getting more dangerous by the day.
For starters, the longer this war goes on, the more opportunity for catastrophic miscalculations — and the raw material for that is piling up fast and furious. Take the two high-profile leaks from American officials this past week about U.S. involvement in the Russia-Ukraine war:
First, The Times disclosed that “the United States has provided intelligence about Russian units that has allowed Ukrainians to target and kill many of the Russian generals who have died in action in the Ukraine war, according to senior American officials.” Second, The Times, following a report by NBC News and citing U.S. officials, reported that America has “provided intelligence that helped Ukrainian forces locate and strike” the Moskva, the flagship of Russia’s Black Sea fleet. This targeting assistance “contributed to the eventual sinking” of the Moskva by two Ukrainian cruise missiles.

Why should I believe anything written in the NY Times?
1) This demonstrates how not ready for prime time the Obama/Biden Military Complex really is.....announcing this sort of coordination with Ukraine is really dangerous. 2) We are in this up to our azz. 3) Biden hasn’t a clue other than he might know when his diaper is wet.

Here’s a thought. The US stays out of it completely.
The Euros want to have Ukraine for their own Empire, as the Russians do for their’s. Let the Euros and the Russians fight for it.

If reports are true America providing intelligence to Ukraine leading to multiple Russian casualties, the sinking of a warship, another warship hit with an antiship missile, a Russian troop transport plane being downed...I’m thinking the Russians are not going to take it without some sort of response.

This war isn’t about Ukraine or Russia, it’s intended to be the lead in to WWIII.
It sure would be refreshing if the media would stop playing Jimmy-the-dunce.
Legally we have been at war with Russia since we provided direct arms to a belligerent in a conflict and yet again when the USA committed economic acts of war against Russia an economic blockade is by it’s very.definition an international act of war. Yes we were at a state of war during Vietnam and Korea it is not up to the third party in a proxy war if they are in a state of war with a belligerent it is 100% up to the aggrieved party how they take the acts of war against them. Like it or not the USA is in a state of war with Russia period full stop if they decide that the acts against them demand direct action they are fully in their rights under the law of war to strike back and it’s only a matter of time before they do. I would not be surprised at all if they light off a tactical nuke over Ukraine to demonstrate one they work and two they will use them. NATO will do exactly Jack sh1t about a low yield tacnuke taking out a port or factory district no way NATO.risks Brussels or Berlin for Kiev not happening regardless what the chicken hawks here say NATO will not use nukes they lack the stones for it.
