Mike Pence was Right

On January 6, 2021, in the chamber of the U.S. House of Representatives, Vice President Mike Pence, in his role as presiding officer of a joint session, counted the electoral college votes for President, just as his predecessors had done for every presidential election since the founding of the republic. Sounds routine enough, doesn’t it?

Not quite.

For that act, Mike Pence became the most hated man in America among Trump supporters. Millions of Americans were left fuming at Pence for squandering the golden opportunity to flip what they were certain was a Democrat-rigged election.

Trump supporters with a grain of sense realized Pence couldn’t simply refuse to count electoral votes they didn’t like. Instead, the plan was for Pence to separate out the electoral votes of the states where there was known to be a competing set of votes in play and sending all the electoral votes back to those states of origin for “reconsideration.” Surely enough of these states would then return “reconsidered” votes to flip the election for Trump. President Trump himself was solidly behind this strategy.

The problem was, Pence was opposed to it and acted accordingly.

Some of the subsequent responses to Pence’s action, particularly in the media, have proceeded to degenerate into sheer Democrat behavior. (I can’t think of a more apt way to describe them.)

One of the worst American Thinker essays I have read to date. If Pence was right, we are in more trouble than I thought we were. He enabled a fraudulent election. Only in some pedantic RINO fantasy could this ever be considered right.

They basically got away with gay marriage because original statutes did not “define” marriage as being between one man and one woman. Nor were man or woman defined.

Using the same type of absurdities, Pence could’ve said that neither “count” nor “most” were defined in Amendment XII, nor does it say anywhere in the Constitution that the President of the Senate actually be able to count accurately.

When a man becomes his hair, he is lost. Pence has been groomed for higher office since his first haircut. Every strand, perfect. Never too long and never, ever too short. Over the course of a year, he spends more time on his hair than anything else. Ok, maybe not anything else, but much conceit does it take for a man to keep his hair perfect all the time?

I wake up this morning to this crap. What is your point to post this? ARE YOU A PENCE SUPPORTER?

I can just as easily find a constitutional scholar who says the opposite of what your posted BS states.

Pence could have called a “time out” in the disputed states.

Anyone who believes Biden was the choice of the majority electorate is an idiot.

Every article or commentary from the left or from the anti Trumpers throws in the phrase that there is no proof of a rigged election.

Then how can you account for what happened? Biden gets more votes than Obama? Has only 500 or counties to Trump’s 2500?

Maybe, God moves in strange ways, and maybe putting Biden in there will serve the purpose of exposing once and for all the left’s agenda to vote the bast*rds out,\

BUT TO PORTRAY PENCE A HERO MAKES ME WANT TO PUKE.

Good point, and his fixation on GROOMING suggests deeper, psychological problems.

I agree. Why this guy posted it, is beyond me.

Total BS.

It’s like you start with a false premise, then circle back to support it.

Pence and his staff were clearly Anti-Trumpers.

Trump had, save a few, an entire party, (GOP) trying to undercut him, the media against him, and people like Pence in the background trying to take him down.

Ryan, McConnell BILL BARR etc. All these POSs.

The truth, all the truth will eventually come out.

Pence thinks that he’s going to be our next president.

Has the American thinker gone over to the other side? The elected vice president failed the American people who elected him. We now know the election was fraud, an intentional deception that allowed a coup in america.

Except there were no legitimate “competing sets of votes in play” in any states. There were several states where GOP electors met and cast votes for Donald Trump on the same day the official electors for Biden met and cast their votes, but that was done as a necessary step to ensure that those Trump electoral votes met the legal requirements under the U.S. Constitution in the event the state election results were successfully challenged.

None of the challenges were successful, so the “competing sets of votes” were moot.

I’m not Mike Pence’s biggest fan, but on this point he was correct. As the one who presides over the joint session of Congress, his job is to count the votes that are given to him. That’s it.

Pence did not allow for evidence of massive electoral fraud to be presented. Therefore he will go down in history as a quisling to those whom he massaged ever so carefully to make him the next president.

Mike Pence is an idiot, a sycophant of the swamp of which he is a part. Its even more insidious that he uses religion to make himself appear righteous when in fact he is a slime bag.

All Pence had to do was refuse to ‘open the envelopes and count the BS votes.’

What would they in opposition have done then? Get their other Vice President up there to do it? Pence has no stones. He was an absolute figurehead who declined to take a stand for America and the person who put him in that position.

Nobody in this country votes for a ticket because they like the person who is tagged to be the subordinate despite what the Media asses push upon us.

As far as I am concerned, the elected President ought to be able to name the VP after all of the election stuff is completed, and then Congress can approve the choice. Pence proved that he is a sniveling coward and unworthy of any sort of respect.

Look at the results of his failure to act responsibly. Pence is as much responsible or more for this entire shitshow than any Rat ever could be. He completely handed over the keys of our Nation to these putrid Low Lifes.
